I don't know what happened, but when I woke up naked and sore, I figured it out. I looked down at myself, only wrapped in a blanket, with no insight of China. As I got up and looked at the clock, I noticed that it said 11:56 pm. Damn was I sleep that long. I got up, wrapped the cover tightly around me, and walked slowly towards the bedroom door. Every step was almost painful with every advancement I made. It got to the point where I decided to try to limp myself back to our bed.
"Fuck!!!" I said as I threw myself back on the bed because China really did fuck my shit up. My phone was on the nightstand beside me, and I decided since I couldn't fucking move, I'd just call Maddie and finally tell her the good news. I picked up my phone, shifted my body into the least painful position possible, and tried my hardest not to hurt myself in the process.
"You bitch." I heard the phone answered almost automatically when I hit call.
"Um, hello to you too, ma'am." I said I was offended at how she answered the phone.
"Bitch, you got married." Maddie said, and I was shocked that she knew that.
"Umm, who told you that?" I was confused.
"Fuck all that, what didn't you call me?" Maddie said she was frustrated, and I chuckled.
"Which sister told you?" I asked because I quickly figured out how she knew.
"They both told me. How dare you go to Vegas and get married, and I wasn't invited?" Maddie said, and she was literally screaming at me.
"In my defense, Emma wasn't there either; it was just family." I said I was trying to defuse the situation.
"So I'm not family now?" Maddie asked, but she wasn't yelling anymore.
"You know that's not what I meant. We decided to get married the day before we actually did." I said, and I heard Maddie sigh through the phone. The video icon popped up because Maddie wanted to FaceTime, so I answered. The sight she saw when I popped my face on the screen had to be hilarious, because she busted out laughing.
"Girl, what the fuck happened to you?" Maddie said she was dying laughing at me.
"My wife happened." I said I was blushing like hell thinking about what had transpired earlier.
"Bitch, do you not have clothes on?" Maddie stated that she was still laughing uncontrollably.
"I can't use my legs right now, so yes, I'm wrapped in a cover." I pulled the cover off my shoulder so she could see it.
"Can't you use your legs? "It seems your honeymoon is going perfectly fine." Maddie said and smirked at me. "And is that China's handprint on your neck?"
