By the time we made it back to the house, I was so happy to be able to go get in my bed if I felt like it. I feel like complete shit, and I am cramping like hell. We haven't even made it out of the car yet, and I want to throw a hissy fit.
"Jenna, can you please just relax? The house is literally right there." Maddie said, and I wasn't with the bullshit and happily unlocked the door and let myself out. As I walked up to the front door, I could hear my wife and her sister inside the living room laughing and drinking. I was walking so fast towards the door that it alarmed both of my best friends.
"Jenna, slow down. What is going on with you?" Emma said this and ran over to me. By the time she made it beside me, I was already unlocking the door.
"Baby, I'm home." I said as I walked into the door and looked towards the living room. There I saw China and Lauryn, both still very conscious of the world around them.
"Baby, did you have a good day? Where are the girls?" China said and motioned for me to come sit down beside her.
"Well, Emma was at the door with me, so she must be waiting on Maddie." I said as I plopped on the couch beside her. The smell of liquor filled the room, and though it made me feel slightly sick, my wife is all that matters.
"China, get your pregnant wife; she's been being mean all damn day." Maddie said, bursting through the front door.
"Yeah, or at least make her go take this test, so then she at least has an excuse for this behavior." Emma said she was cosigning. She was holding the bag with the pregnancy test in it.
"Both of you can suck my long imaginary dick." I said that and shoved my middle finger up at them.
"Baby, do you think you are pregnant?" China asked me, and I gave her a blank face.
"I don't know McClain; all I know is that I am cranky and hungry. I am also bloated and emotional." I said this and crossed my arms with a slight attitude.
"Give me the test." China said this and reached her hand out to Emma. As she took hold of the bag, she looked at me and smiled.
"Umm, hey Jenna." Lauryn said it awkwardly and cautiously. I popped up off the seat and attacked Lauryn with hugs.
"Sisterrrrrrrrrr." I screamed and started hugging her tighter. Everyone in the room was just happy I wasn't going off on anyone.
"It looks like you missed me." Lauryn returned the hug.
"You are my favorite out of everyone in this house right now." I laughed, and the other three got offended.
"I'd argue with that, but after the way you treated me today, I believe it." Maddie said and started making herself comfortable by grabbing a mini liquor bottle.
