China's POV (4weeks later)
This is awkward as hell. Jenna has been pressuring me and Emma to kiss because it has been 4 weeks and we haven't yet. Not that I would mind doing it for Jenna's sake, but honestly, I'm not even that mad at my wife anymore. This whole situation is messed up, but I still trust my wife. I really hope that's the only fuckup that's going to happen. There has been so much tension between Jenna and me in the last few weeks, so I think it's time to fix that. Jenna, Emma, and Maddie are all out spending time together, and I'm at the new house by myself. Jenna is supposed to bring them over here to see the house for the first time after they finish whatever they're doing.
"You know, maybe you should just completely forgive her, sis." Lauryn said through the phone. I completely forgot that I was on the phone because I was zoned out thinking of Jenna. "It's been weeks."
"Sorry, sis, I zoned out." I said that and scratched the back of my neck.
"I know, and that's why I said you should just forgive her." Lauryn said, and I smiled. "It wasn't intentional; we both know that."
"Yeah, I'm not even mad anymore. I just miss my wife." I said and heard a noise through the phone sounding like a car. "Are you driving right now?"
"Then when she comes home, tell her that. And yes, I am driving; why?" Lauryn said, and I shook my head.
"Where are you going?" I asked, being nosey, and I wasn't surprised by her answer at all.
"I'll tell you in about 5 minutes. We have been on the phone for almost an hour. How are you just noticing I'm driving?" Lauryn said, and honestly, I haven't said enough on the phone to equal an hour. Was I zoned out for that damn long?
"Why do I have a feeling you are about to show up at my front door again?" I said I was laughing, and Lauryn chuckled.
"Because I am." Lauryn said, and I just rolled my eyes. "And I brought alcohol."
"Are we getting drunk?" I was a little too excited.
"More like sophisticatedly fucked up." Lauryn said, and before I could respond, I heard the horn through the phone and outside.
"In that case, you come in right now and bring the alcohol with you." I said that, went to open the door, and looked down the driveway. I saw Lauryn getting out of her car, and I waved from the door. I hung up the phone and waited for her at the front door.
"Sister. I brought all the good sh*t." Lauryn said and pulled three bags from beside her, including a Chinese food bag. "I also brought you Chinese."
"Aww, you do love me." I said that and put my hands over my heart.
