China POV

This is the first time I have been home as of today. I hadn't been home in a few weeks other than taking Jenna to our appointments. We are definitely not in the best place right now, but I decided to come home and try to spend some time with my wife. Things aren't as perfect as I want them to seem, but Jenna and I are at least enjoying our time together. We managed to get everything together for the baby's room today. There was no conflict or issue, but I did most of it because Jenna is damn near about to drop. She is 37 weeks pregnant, and she looks like she will have the baby at any moment. I should have known that happiness wouldn't last long, though. She just woke up from her nap as my phone started to ring. I grabbed the phone, hoping it wouldn't startle her, but it did. Jenna opened her eyes and looked around, confused, before looking at the phone beside her that was ringing. I glanced down at the phone to move it, but Jenna had grabbed it from my hand. I didn't even see who was calling because she grabbed it so fast.

"Why is she calling you?" Jenna said, and I was confused as hell. I had no clue who had just messaged or called me. "Who is Isis?" "You got something to tell me?"

"What?" I said I was confused, but I can tell that Jenna just waking up had her in a bad spot.

"I'm going to ask this one more time." Jenna said she was walking up and shoving my phone in my face. I could barely see it, but when I did, I just looked at Jenna, confused. "Why is she calling your phone?"

"Are you truly asking me why she is calling me?" I said I was confused because, for one thing, I have no clue what is even happening. "I mean, I'm allowed to have friends, right?"

"I've never heard you mention her name before. Call her back?" Jenna said I rolled my eyes while grabbing my phone. I knew as soon as I got home that this would start again.

"You are unbearable." I said that and called Isis back. The look on Jenna's face was pure anger and jealousy, for no reason at all. She probably wouldn't be so concerned if she knew how to treat her wife.

"Hello?" I said this as I answered the phone to hear the voice of a friend I had not yet told Jenna about. We met a few weeks before we left for Dubai. We have gotten pretty close since I haven't been home as often.

"Hey boo. Wyd?" The woman said it over the phone. Jenna was cutting daggers at me for no reason.

"I'm getting iced grilled by my wife because you called me." I said, chuckling, and Jenna raised her eyebrow at me.

"Oh, she's right there." Isis said, and I looked at Jenna, who seemed to be turning redder with anger by the second.

"Yeah, wanna say hi?" I said, and with an answer, I put the phone on speaker. "Jenna, say hi."

The look on Jenna's face was literally priceless, as she tried to probably not knock me out after that stunt.

"Hi." Jenna said it dryly, and I chuckled because this is insane—that she was mad that a friend called my phone.

"Um hi. You okay?" Isis said, and the fact is that me and her have been communicating a lot lately. I don't tell Jenna things like that because of this, but I also never lie either.

"Yes, I'm sorry. I was napping when my wife's phone rang, and you popped up. A little thrown off." Jenna said after clearing her throat.

"You're good, boo. I was a little concerned." Isis laughed, and I saw Jenna loosen up instantly.
