China's POV (2 weeks later)
"Can you do anything right?" Jenna groaned as we tried to set up the baby's room. We were in the process of painting the bedroom a tan and brown color. I had just spilled paint all over the carpet, which we are fortunately replacing anyway. Jenna has been consistently in a bad mood for the last three days. She has had the worst attitude that you can imagine, and everything I do is wrong now.
"It was a mistake, Jenna. Calm down." I said annoyed because this has been like this repeatedly.
"You spilled brown paint all over the carpet. We probably don't have enough paint now." Jenna said it with a visible attitude. "And the carpet is ruined."
"Is it that big of a deal, Jenna?" I said this because I knew that this situation wasn't that serious.
"Is it a big deal?" Jenna said that and cut her eye over at me, and I knew what was coming next. "Did you just seriously ask me that?"
"Yeah. Jenna, we are replacing the carpet; this doesn't have to be an issue." I said as I picked the paint bucket up from the floor, and more spilled out.
"Stop creating issues, and there won't be a conversation." Jenna said that and went back to painting with the tan paint. I am really trying to be reasonable with this woman.
"Obviously, everything I do is an issue." I said before walking out to go upstairs to try to get all the paint off my hands and change my clothes because Jenna could have it. I'm done trying.
"Where are you going?" Jenna said she was wobbling towards me, pointing the paint brush at me.
"Away to stop causing you issues." I said this simply and continued walking to the closet to get the hand cleaner to get the paint off my hands.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Jenna scoffed with disgust that I just said that to her.
"I mean, you've been cussing me out and insulting me for three days. We've got a problem or something?" I said this and raised an eyebrow at her curiously.
"Do you want one?" Jenna said, crossing her arm over her chest and belly.
"Fuck want one; you already have one." I said with a sarcastic grin on my face that I needed her to move out of my way.
"Let me tell you something, China. I am not in the mood." Jenna said as she moved to the side so I could leave the closet to wash my hands.
"You want to know something? If this is how the last 2 months are about to be, we are going to have an issue." I said this and walked into the bathroom, shutting the door in Jenna's face. The sound of a frustrated Jenna banging on the door didn't even bother me at this moment.
