Jenna's POV
Our vacation really turned out to be amazing. Dubai is so beautiful, especially this time of year. We spent the last few days whispering sweet nothings and loving each other. The stress of home has become so much for both of us, and we aren't even working right now. Today is our last day here, and we are laying in bed figuring out the final details of the baby's name. I have gone through like 20 names in my head in the last minute, and I think I finally found the one.
"I really want to name the baby Emerald Anne-Marie." I said this while looking at my wife, and she looked at me like I was insane.
"That is interesting, but I do like that you combined our middle names." China said that and kissed me on the forehead. "So just get rid of the Destiny?"
"Yeah, I'm not trying to birth a Destiny." I chuckled, and China smiled. Her smile showed me that she loved the name, and that made me really excited. Her eyes glowed with happiness and excitement.
"Emerald is very different. I honestly like it a lot." China said this and rubbed my cheek. I smiled at her and pecked her lips.
"Good because you had no say in it." I said confidently, and China plucked me on the nose in annoyance. "I'm kidding."
"Better be." China said and looked over at the window with a beautiful view among us. I admired her and her beauty. She got distracted by the view and kept staring out the window.
"I want the baby's room to be tan, brown, and emerald." I said I was getting excited and grabbing my phone to look at inspiration online. China looked over when I leaned forward to get the phone to make sure I was okay in the process.
"You are definitely a different breed of mom." China said, chuckling at the colors of our daughter's room. I'm not the pretty princess type, so this isn't a surprise to her at all. Of course, my daughter's room wouldn't be pink or a girly color.
"So I'm thinking that maybe we do all tan baby furniture. Then we paint one wall all brown and three tan walls." I said that because I was getting really excited. China and I don't have many of these blissful moments like this.
"I know whatever you choose will be perfect for our little nugget." China said, rubbing me on the stomach and feeling a soft thump on her hand.
"Ugh, you woke her up." I groaned as the baby kicked me in the ribs. I chuckled, but I still felt nothing but pain. We have a very active daughter, and I needed that break.
"I'm sorry, baby. Let me talk to her." China said this and moved her face closer to my stomach. She started whispering to my stomach.
"Hey, if you can hear me kick the heck out your momma," She said low, and I was trying to understand what she said. She looked up at me, and I instantly felt another kick of minor pain in my abdomen. I saw a foot kick from inside my stomach at the same time.
