In a brief twenty minutes of flying Tony and Natasha explained to you what they already knew about Loki. Apparently he was a god, namely the god of mischief, and he was the brother of Thor who had visited Earth a couple moths back, appearing on the news and taking everyone by surprise. Even you were a bit shocked, not exactly expecting aliens, let alone gods to be real but who were you to judge?

Captain and Tony migrated to the front of the pit, already arguing about something while Loki kept you under his stern gaze. You kinda tuned out from the chatter from the front and fell in with your thoughts, feeling somewhat betrayed but more so confused. You couldn't shake how different he was last night, nothing like the man now sitting opposite you, cold and distant.

Your bouncing leg felt heavy against the metal interior of the jet, shoes tapping rhythmically.

"-time as a capsicele." Tony said sarcastically, earning a muted chuckle from you.

Just as you were to share an approving look with him a booming sound and the light of a huge lightning bolt lit the cabin up. Jumping at the sudden change you glanced back to the the god, noting the way his shoulders shot up, looking searchingly towards the ceiling. Your brows furrowed. This was the first time he'd taken his eyes off you.

Captain America seemed to have noticed this as well because now he threw a questioning look at Loki and asked. "What's the matter? Scared of a little lightning?"

Loki barely minded to acknowledge him, still casting around the cabin. "I'm not overly fond of what follows."

Tony shared a confused look with you, also starting to search around, curious to why the god suddenly became active. You moved to stand up but just then the whole jet jerked down, throwing you off balance. You landed on one of your knees, watching as another lightning revealed a small smirk on Loki's lips at your momentary misstep. No one had time to react, because when you looked up Stark was already at the open door, awaiting a supposedly very angry intruder. What happened next was barely comprehensible, a buff man entered, punched Tony backwards with his weapon, grabbed Loki by the collar of his armor and flew off.

You were blinking hard at Tony who staggered to his feet, sighing. "Now there's that guy..." He helped you up and already began his journey towards the door.

"Another Asgardian?" Natasha shouted from behind the control panel, her voice carrying through the whooshing of the air weakly. She struggled with her ruffled hair the same way you were.

"Are those guys friendly?" Captain asked, sounding very short on breath.

"Doesn't matter." Tony started. "If he frees Loki or kills him, the tessearct's lost." He advanced towards the last few steps before the open air with a confident sway. You, on the other hand weren't half as sure he would be capable of taking out not one, but two overly powerful beings, given that one of them just wiped their ass with a literal super soldier. Worry clouded your features for a quick second, long enough to miss calling out after him if Steve didn't step in.

"Stop!" He yelled. "We need a plan of attack."

"I have a plan. Attack!" Stark answered before diving after the Asgardians.

"What?!" Cap let out a frustrated sigh, desperately casting around for a plan of his own.

You had to make a split second decision as well: letting Stark get injured or if worse, killed, and allowing Loki to get away with your answers of why he invaded your dreams, or hang back and let things unfold. As much as you didn't want to fight in clothes clearly not suited for combat you couldn't let Tony go against whoever the other man was.

Turning to Steve, you backed away until you felt your heels leave solid ground, and you let a smirk spread your lips. "Let's have some fun, Captain!" As you spoke you couldn't help but show a full smile at his scared expression. One last look accompanied by a wink and you too were falling back first through the night.
