The observatory like building appeared to be made entirely of gold as well a the enormous palace that you noticed a beat later when you looked out of the door. A long bridge, like a frozen rainbow stretching above crystal clear water full of fish connected you to land where more and more beautiful buildings towered over each other, racing for every beam of the exceptionally warm sunlight. The air had a sweet smell to it as well, almost like you were in a garden full of blooming roses.

Thor introduced you to the gold eyed man, Heimdall, who creeped you out a little by looking you over like he knew every detail about your life, his gaze wordlessly following you when you stepped out onto the bridge.

As Thor led Jane and you towards the heart of the planet, you got into the crowded part of the city, if you could call it that, and people swarmed their arriving prince with flowers and good wishes. The crowd got so big all of a sudden that you got separated from your friend, the only anchor in this new situation, and soon you found yourself wandering the streets of a foreign planet alone.

To your luck, the people of Asgard seemed really friendly, you'd gotten numerous compliments and good wishes from the vendors but a sense of tenseness followed you through your small adventure, knowing that every place had its rules and in that moment you were trespassing without any sort of alibi.

The atmosphere of Asgard, however, was one of a kind. Happy children played on the streets, kind faced couples and weirdly familiar looking cats scattered around the corners and the cleanliness and brightness of the stones of the pavement shone pleasantly at your face, a strange one across the Asgardians, who somehow closely resembled humans, you somehow felt safe. In your wander you came to a clearing with a waterfall in the back and a beautiful lake in the middle, its water pink like rose quartz. You sat down in the soft grass, admiring the scene that nature formed and wondered how privileged it must have been for Thor and Loki to grow up here. Earth's beauty was nothing compared to what you saw. Almost as if a fairytale came to life before your eyes.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" Asked a kind voice.

You jumped slightly from not hearing the older woman with the loveliest hair approach, and your lungs pushed out some air as you looked up in alert.

But she didn't seem like someone that wanted to cause you harm. Her warm smile sculpted her face, one that felt familiar in a sense and soon you figured you've been encountered by a mother. No one has that calming warmness to their face other than mothers.

"It's breathtaking." You answered in complete awe, gaze directing back to the lake.

"May I sit with you?" She asked kindly, gaining your attention again.

You, a bit taken aback, nodded at her slowly, all the years of hostility screaming not to let her near you. As she sat, smoothing out the soft wrinkles of her silk dress woven with the thinnest strands of gold she smiled at you, an action that caused a spark of warmness to ignite in your heart.

"Tell me, dear, what would you do if you saw a butterfly trying to paint its wings a different color but not quite being able to reach the roots? Would you help it change?" You didn't expect her question at all, so with surprised eyes and a bit of suspicion, you fell in thought. Why would a random lady ask you something like this, you weren't sure.

Her blue eyes cast upon you, watching as you stared in front of you as if you were admiring the gentle flow of the water. "I suppose," You began, still figuring out what you wanted to say. "I would show it how life can be lived and ask, after the adventure, if it still wants to change. Maybe it hasn't got to live and thinks changing itself would change what life holds for it."

When you looked at the kind woman she had a smile on her lips, making you pull the corners of your mouth to a faint one as well. "Come with me, my dear, you can't just be wandering about the streets. The Allfather doesn't like newcomers to roam his city, especially not unsupervised..."
