Mingi's pov
I was getting a new roommate today and i gotta say I wasn't really that excited seeing as this is my third roommate this month...
They all found me intimidating and left and I'm the nicest tallest person you could ever meet I just don't talk that much because if I don't know you then it takes time for that.
And they all left after either a week of being my roommate or a month after the first one I learned not to get to sad over it.
But it still hurts I just hoped this roommate stayed and not get scared off.
I was on my bed patiently waiting for my new roommate. About 25 minutes later I almost drop my phone because the knock on the door I sigh I knew they were coming and I still got scared...
I got up and walk towards the door opening it and I hope my eyes were deceiving me because no way do these type of humans actually exist-
There in front of me was a male a head taller than I was and I was tall but that's not all he had dog ears and even a tall in the back? How? What? Why?! I-
He smiles cheerfully "hello! My name is jeong yunho and I am your new roommate nice to meet you! I hope to be really good friends!" He said and I blinked was he not going to address the elephant in the room..?
I stared at him more specifically his cute dog ears- I mean his dog ears he noticed and blushed his ears slightly dropped "u-um I'm a-a dog hybrid too" he said quietly and wow why was he so cute?! Ugh you shouldn't think that about your new roommate mingi!!
"u-um y-yeah hello I'm mingi" I said not knowing what else to say he nods and it gets awkward then I remembered I haven't let him in yet I move aside so he can come in and he walks in with his suitcase I close the door behind him.
"Um so your room is down the hall to your right it's next to mine you can get settled in and I'll be out here if you need anything" I said and he nodded with a smile his tail swaying side to side walking towards his new room. I was still in shock there was a dog hybrid....who's also my new roommate...
I then get a call I pick it up
"hello?"
"Yah mingi! Did you hear?"
"San? What are you talking about?"
"There's going to be hybrids joining our schools! I just got a new roommate who's a cat hybrid! And wooyoung said his new roommate is a Doberman dog hybrid! Hongjoong said he got a bear hybrid as his new roommate and a few other kids from our school has seen different kinds of hybrids around the school today and yesterday! It's so cool!"
"W-wait so it's not just me who has a dog hybrid? Hybrids are actually a thing? Oh my lord"
"Yes mingi! Keep up! By the way what hybrid did you get?"
"Uh I think he's a golden retriever dog hybrid"
"Oh my god so cute!"
"Yeah...he's taller than me San"
It was silent for a few seconds before I heard san's giggles
"Yah! What's so funny?"
"N-nothing that's just really cute! He's basically as tall as you so you can have a friend now! Oh so romantic~" San squealed
"Yeah I guess it's just going to take me some...time to get used to all this I mean he's a dog hybrid how do I get used to this so fast?"
"Min it's going to be fine just cause their half animal doesn't mean they aren't human like us and take as much time as you need to get use to it but not too much time! And at least get to know him! My cat hybrid name is seonghwa and he's so amazing~ I like him!"
"You just met him and you like him already San?"
"What?~ I fall easily you know this! And he's hot! He's a hot, kind and caring cat hybrid what's not to fall for!"
I chuckle
"Yeah I guess so sannie"
"Oh gotta go hwa just got out the shower! By gi! Love you!"
Before I could reply he hung up making me sigh and put my phone down and put my face in my hands
"I-I'm sorry mingi" I hear and flinch a little looking up "y-yunho? What are you sorry for?" I ask he fidgets and plays with his hands "I-I heard you over the phone a-and I'm sorry I-I can move rooms if your more comfortable that way!" He said and my eyes widen and I stand up going towards him.
My body moved on it's on and before I know it I was caressing his face he leaned into my touch making me smile "yunho you aren't making me uncomfortable and you don't have to go anywhere I just said it would take some time getting use to the changes but until then let's get to know each other yeah?" I said he smiled and his tail wagged as he nodded eagerly I chuckled
