Third pov
It's been around a month and a half and jongho and hongjoong have been texting each other and meeting up at the cafe to see each other.
Jongho couldn't be happier he found himself falling for the slightly shorter male, but he was scared of confessing so he's happy where they are now..
Currently he was waiting for hongjoong at the cafe he was a few minutes late but jongho didn't mind waiting for him it gave him time to prepare himself.
Soon though the door to the cafe opened and hongjoong entered with another guy who held the door for hongjoong who thanked him jongho frowned at this he felt this new feeling burn within him and he didn't like it...
Hongjoong walked to Jongho's table with a smile "hi jongie!" He greeted and jongho nodded "yeah hi hyung" he mumbled hongjoong frowned at his friends lack of response "are you okay? Is it because I was late? I'm sorry jongie! I just lost track of time and I went to pick my best friend up! Speaking of which this is my best friend jiho! And jiho this is my friend jongho" hongjoong introduced with a smile
Jiho smiled at jongho "hello jongho it's nice to meet you hongjoong talks about you a lot" he said with a chuckle and hongjoong hit his arm with a blush "I-I don't he's just saying that" hongjoong said nervously and jongho nodded "yeah you as well" he said simply crossing his arms.
Hongjoong and jiho took a seat next to each other and across from jongho and it was an awkward silence for a while before mingi came over and broke it "hey hyung! Your finally here jongho was whining because he thought you ditched him" mingi said smirking and shrieking when jongho glared at him with his arms crossed.
"Woah jongho what crawled in your salad today?" He mumbled and jongho stood up and dragged mingi away who yelped but allowed himself to be dragged and when they arrived in the back Jongho frowned "who is that guy?"mingi chuckled "is someone jelly?~" he teased and jongho groaned going to hit him mingi shrieked "okay okay! I'll tell you stop hitting me" he whined.
Jongho only huffed nodding "well he is actually hyung's ex but they stopped dating because jiho moved to Canada and he came back I guess they were also best friends before they started dating too so I guess their just picking back up the friendship" mingi said and that only made jongho frown deeply "what if he wants something more? What if he goes back to him? What if he didn't even like me to begin with oh my god what if he never did and I'm-" he got cut of by mingi smacking him "yah Choi jongho! Stop being so damn insecure you like hongjoong hyung so you have to go get him! You can't let some guy discourage you from doing that you like hyung and you shouldn't let some guy come and take you from him!" Mingi said seriously shocking jongho.
He nodded "y-yeah your right Min! Thank you! I needed that" jongho said with a chuckle mingi nodded with a proud smile "oh by the way hyung has a muscle kink so you have more of a chance" mingi said and walked away leaving a blushing and shocked jongho behind.. he snapped out of it and walked back to the table sitting down "is everything okay jongie?" Hongjoong asked jongho nodded "yeah I just...had to ask mingi about something" he said and hongjoong giggled nodding.
"So how did you two meet?" Jiho asked jongho held back a scoff "we actually met in this cafe a month and a half ago!" Hongjoong answered giggling "that's cute but how?" Jiho asked jongho scowled "ah jongie was staring at me so I came over and talked to him" hongjoong said jokingly jongho blushed "oh come on hyung! What's there not to stare at your so beautiful" he said with a smirk gaining confidence hongjoong blushed shocked at the response and opened his mouth to say something but nothing came out due to shyness.
Jongho chuckled "cute" he said and for a few hours they all talked well jiho talked to hongjoong or hongjoong talked to jongho then hongjoong excused himself to go to the bathroom so now it was just jiho and jongho..
"You like hongjoong don't you?" Jiho asked and jongho put his phone down "so what if I do? What's it to you?" He asked staring right at jiho annoyed jiho chuckled "well I just wanted to say it's cute and all but hongjoong is mines always was and always will be so just forget about your little crush because I'm here now little man" he said smirking jongho scoffed "oh? You think so? Well it's not gonna work whatever your trying to do you left him and now you think you can just come back and he'll run back to you? Well let me tell you something jiho I like hongjoong very much and I'll be damned if I let the likes of you take him so fuck off before I beat your ass" jongho growled his neck veins popping out.
This guy irritated him very much jiho only laughed "you? Beat my ass? And hongjoong will always come running back to me little man I've known him his whole life and you known him for what a month? Get real little man" he spat and Jongho slammed his fists on the table startling people jiho smirked before jongho could even pounce and beat his ass hongjoong came back "is everything okay here?" He asked "oh hongie! Yes everything is fine I was just telling jongho here how much your my best friend and how much I love you" he said smirking at jongho growled "no everything is not okay and I'm so close to bashing his head on this table" jongho said sitting back on his chair cracking his knuckles and his neck.
"Jongie what do you mean? Why are you so upset?" Hongjoong asked softly and sat next to jongho caressing his face Jongho would've blushed but he was too upset jiho's words still in his mind "your friend is a weirdo who thinks people are his property and I'll be damned if I let him try and take you away from me" jongho said staring jiho down hongjoong raised his brow he hated seeing his jongho this upset.
"Jongie please calm down for me please" hongjoong said jongho nodded "after his face is one with this table then yes I will calm down darling" jongho said not noticing the pet name slip hongjoong blushed "w-well at least tell me what happened" hongjoong said a blushing mess and jongho sighed telling him all that jiho said and jiho scoffed "he's obviously lying I wouldn't say that even if it is true" he said
Hongjoong frowned "jiho we're old news you left me to go to Canada that's on you but I don't belong to you anymore I belong to jongie now and I'd like it if you didn't get him so upset now leave because I agreed to being just friends with you nothing more and even if I didn't meet jongho I would never go back to you" hongjoong said turning and looking at jiho who scoffed "you would rather be with that little man?" He asked scoffing jongho sighed "your a head taller than me first of all and secondly I could break you in half any time and any day" he said and hongjoong blushed feeling so turned on by jongho right now.
Jiho scoffed "try it little bitch" he snarled and before jongho could say or do anything jiho's face was bashed into the table hongjoong's eyes widen while jongho saw who it was and chuckled "I was getting tired of him talking" yunho said jongho laughed "hey hyung!" He said and yunho smiled "hey jong you should've beat his ass already" he said and jongho sighed "I really wanted to.." he said frowning yunho laughed "guess I beat you to it~" he said sticking his tongue out then mingi walked over with his eyes wide "I leave the cash register for a few minutes and you come causing ruckus puppy!" Mingi said with a sigh and yunho laughed "hello to you to baby" he said mingi scoffed crossing his arms yunho pouts and walks to mingi hugging him.
Mingi grumbles but eventually gives in and hugs his puppy smiling softly "I can never stay mad at you puppy you know that" mingi said and yunho smiled pulling away only to peck Mingi's lips smiling "I do and I can't either love" he said
After that jongho and hongjoong left bidding goodbye to the yungi couple and mingi and yunho left a few minutes later since he was off...
Hongjoong grabbed Jongho's hand and led him somewhere it seemed to be some sort of pier when they get there hongjoong turns around and stares at jongho "I'm sorry I brought him today jongie I didn't know he was like that...I should've known but I didn't and I'm so sorry" hongjoong said pouting jongho smiles and pecks his lips making hongjoong gasp and blush.
"I really like you hongjoong and I want you to be my boyfriend" jongho said and hongjoong smiled widely before nodding eagerly "y-yes! Of course I'll be your boyfriend jongie" hongjoong said and smiled jongho smiled back pulling him in for a long kiss which hongjoong gladly accepted and kissed back it lasted for another minutes before they pulled away "thank you darling" jongho said and hongjoong giggled "of course my baby bear" he said and jongho hugged his waist smiling.
