It was around 5 o'clock in the evening when Lindsey finally came around to showing up at Stevie's to go to dinner, mostly to tell his news about having filed for divorce and to bring Wren over to spend time with Drusilla while he spent some time with the blonde.

The father and daughter duo walked through the front door only to see Stevie at the table with her girls, like most Fridays although considering it was a Monday, he assumed something had gone down. They were drinking, at least the mocktails made it look as if they were.

"Oh, the man of the hour has made it..." Lori smirked. "I feel like this is our cue to leave," she rose a brow to the raven haired woman.

"Yes," Sharon agreed. "I hope you guys have a nice dinner. Good to see you, Wren, you're so beautiful," she added, hugging the young gal.

"Yes, you actually look just like your dad... You got his nice features," Lori smirked, whacking Lindsey on the side of the arm.

"Thanks," the girl kind of laughed.

"It's almost like we're still in-laws," he rolled his eyes in return, giving his daughter a nudge.

"Drusilla is in her room, honey," Stevie mentioned, allowing for the girl to pass through the chaos that was a typical girls' night.

"Thanks..." she repeated and moved swiftly through the dining room in order to make it to the staircase.

Once she disappeared, Lindsey looked over at the blonde and he smiled.

"Have a seat," she patted the chair next to her.

"Thanks. So, how's it going?"

"Oh, not too bad..." she claimed.

"I only figured something monumental happened in the time I was gone because the girls were here and you're all drinking," he smirked.

"Nothing crazy, I ran my errands as I said I would, Charles came over and we talked and then he ran out on me so we didn't finish talking and then I had the girls over and Lori is on the stressed side because of the separation... She feels bad for Jess."

"I'd imagine," he agreed, recalling the guilt he felt when they split and he had to leave the girls.

"Yeah, anyway, I'm glad you brought Wren. I'm sure she misses Drusilla and this time together is going to be good for them. They'll have the next two weeks together as well, since James will be in England."

"I agree, I think it's good for them," he nodded.

"How'd things go when you got home?" she then wondered.

"I got Wren to school, asked her what her opinion on the idea of her mother and I separating was and she mentioned that she just wanted me to be happy..."

"That's thoughtful... Sounds a lot like Dru."

"So, you've gotten your half of the I Want You to be Happy speech?" he smirked.

"Oh, yes, the minute you dropped her off after getting her from the airport and then two more versions," she laughed. "She also added in her dislikes about Charles..."

"Yes, I got her list of dislikes about Lauren," he chuckled. "At least she's honest."

"I envy it. Either way, I'm glad Wren is on your side... I do agree that you should be happy."

"As long as I have you, I'll always be happy. We could stay friends and I'd be happy."

"That's nice. But ditto," she agreed. "We're dangerous in a way but I wouldn't have it any other way," she shrugged.
