He opened the door to his room, and my eyes widened in surprise.

I couldn't believe my eyes.

Everything was decorated like the honeymoon suits we see in movies. Candles were lit up, making the dark room glow. Vanilla and chamomile scents lingered in the air, somehow soothing my nerves. I was busy looking around the room when hands wrapped around my waist, pulling me to a firm chest.

"Did you like it?" He whispered those words in my ear huskily. His lips brushed against my ear rim, causing tingles to form on my skin.

"Hmm," I only hummed without giving him a proper answer. It was breathtaking, but I didn't dare say it loudly. I already started to feel putty in his arms. The way he was holding me in his possessive hold made my heart race fast. Suddenly I remembered Sophia's incoherent words. I was not quite sure what I was supposed to do, but I remember one thing from what Sophia had muttered: don't show him your nervousness. I don't know how I'm going to do it.

Suddenly, he turned me around. I gaped at him in surprise at his sudden action. Both of my hands rested on his firm chest as he held me against it. He kept looking at me while his grey eyes were fixed on me. My chest heaved with unknown emotions looking at the way he was staring deeply at me. slowly breathing as his warm breath fanned my face. He moved his face forward slowly, looking straight into my eyes. A big lump formed in my throat looking at how slowly yet fast he was cutting the distance between us. The tension in the air kept getting thicker with each passing second. He nuzzled his face into my neck, making my fingers curl on his shirt. His wet lips placed a kiss on my neck, making me take a sharp breath. I closed my eyes tightly when he started to trace the path upwards until they reached my jaw. He rested his forehead on mine, our noses touching each other.

"There is no one to disturb us now," he mumbled those words huskily. My heart was already beating so fast.

"I have waited so long for this moment. I have no reason to hold myself anymore," he whispered those words on my lips. His words held so much resistance that it was on the verge of breaking. I again remembered what Sophia had said. He will go all beast tonight. My stomach scrunched in the mixture of excitement and anxiety.

But why do I feel sudden, slow pain in my lower tummy?

I tried to ignore it, trying to concentrate on my breathing. It was hitching all the time. His hand moved upwards from my waist, causing me to curl my back whenever his fingertip made contact with my bare skin. Goosebumps formed all over my skin. He kept drawing a line on my back with his calloused fingertip and stopped only when it took hold of the zip that was keeping my dress together. He slowly started to pull it down. I felt my wedding gown start to get loose on my chest as he very slowly dragged it downward. His hovering lips were about to touch mine when I again felt that sharp pain in my lower tummy. A whimper left my mouth involuntarily. I thought it would stop, but I immediately felt that shape of pain again in my stomach. That pain was too familiar for me to not recognise it. He stopped unzipping my dress, and the next thing I knew, he cupped my face, making me look at him.
