When you returned the the land of the living you instantly noticed you were not in the comfort of your own bed. Stealing a quick peek through half opened eyelids revealed you weren't even in your own quarters. It was only then that the memories of last night hit you. In your exhausted state you'd rocked up outside Larissa's quarters and you'd spent the night with the women. Rolling over to your right side, you expected to collide with her stunning body but instead you were met with empty sheets. Blinking the sleep away you came to the conclusion that you were alone. Confusion and hurt ran rampant throughout your body as you attempted to puzzle the pieces together. Tears sprang into your eyes when you'd came to the conclusion, she must have left early to avoid the awkward morning after talk. Your feeling can't be reciprocated. Dejectedly you slipped into your robe and left the room. The closing of the door aligning with the breaking of your heart.

If you'd just calmed your troubled and panicked thoughts had just calmed down enough for you to wait five more minutes, you would've heard the shower clicking off and the tall beauty returning just glad in a snow white towel. Larissa was equally as confused to not find you slumbering in her bed, where she'd left you with a quick kiss to your forehead before her shower. Perhaps you were embarrassed to have feelings for her? Maybe last night was a joke to you? She didn't know. But as the principal life never stops. So she picked herself up and dusted her self off, oblivious to the fact you sat in your quarters sobbing.

The classes you taught were pure hell today. You couldn't seem to pull yourself together, flashbacks of the previous night assaulting your brain every chance they got. Your students were noticing just how distracted you were, reminding you how much you wanted to fall apart here and now. All that night would be is memories. And that thought alone destroyed you effortlessly. Once you had an empty class room you allowed the pent up heartbreak to be let lose. Messy sobs wrecking through your body, grieving a relationship that never even started. Somehow it worse now you know what being with her would feel like. Your phone dinged causing you to try and focus your tear covered eyes on the little screen. "Y/n, can you come to my office at your earliest convenience. We need to talk" the text alone sending you into full panic mode. Talk? That can't be good right?

With a few steady deep breaths in an attempt to calm yourself, you made your way down the halls leading to her office. Anxiety flowed through you as you timidly knocked on her office door. Her voice granting you permission to come in is what sent your mind into a flash back of how she would purr "darling" at you. Shaking yourself from your own mind, you entered her office to see her in her usual attire sitting at her desk.

"You wanted to see me Principle Weems?" You mumbled out keeping your gaze focused on the ground. "Darling, after last night you can call me Larissa" she stated her tone unreadable. "But you left me in bed? I just thought you were ashamed..." you trailed off confused still refusing to meet her gaze. "Left you? Darling I was in the shower." She stated with a softer tone which caused you to met her ocean blue eyes. You could see her sincerity swarming in them. "The shower?" You whimpered sounding like a small child. "Yes my darling. When I re entered the room you had gone. I assumed you regretted last night and did not wish to push you." The vulnerability painfully evident in her voice as she explained her sides of the story. Quite simply you were quite the pair. It was all just one big misunderstanding. One that made your broken heart beat louder than marching drums.
