Prompt~ 78 (you look like you need a hug) requested by the very sweet Abi1468

It was the letter from your dear niece, that now had you arriving in Jericho once more. You hadn't returned since your graduation, choosing to flee the small town in order to escape the memories. Your sister also opting to leave in order to follow her true love, which the resulted in you being given a niece and nephew to dote on. No suitors for you, after all none of them were her.

You were teased of course, the lonely Addams. It wasn't common in your family to not have found a partner at your age. The curse of the Addams family, meaning you were meant to fall into an obsession filled love at first glance. Unable to love anyone that wasn't your person. And as an empath you felt all the love of those around you. Yet none for you. Sometimes it caused you to be in a terrible mood. Wanting what everyone else had. It wasn't enough to feel it second hand. No, you wanted that pure unconditional love aimed just for you. Your first crush and current crush at the forefront of your mind when thinking of this. You could imagine being curled up in the crook of her neck as her hands played with your raven curls. Your small frame tucked into her securely, bathing in the glow of the fire that blazed in front of you. Maybe a few glasses of wine or sometimes she'd be reading to you as you listened allowing her voice to wash over you. However, it was only a day dream. Not one you could see becoming real. After all she never seemed to notice you, only your twin sister.

Arriving at Nevermore with your sister and her family you instantly picked up on the change in her emotions. The twin connection you shared, meaning you felt them stronger than others. "Tish? " you questioned her knowing she'd catch on to your train of thought. "Leave it Y/n" she all but snapped at you. Very strange. It was rare that she would snap at you, something must be wrong. You got out of the Addams's family car, spotting your niece starring blankly at her parents. "Wednesdayyyyy" you almost sung in a sing song voice to annoy her a little. You watched as the sides of her lips curled upwards in an attempt to smile. "Auntie" she exclaimed and bypassed her mother to come and burry herself in your arms. A very strange action for the younger raven haired girl but not with you. You and Wednesday had managed to forge a special bond. "Hello, my darling how is Nevermore treating you?" You queried wondering if there had been any progress in her tentative relationship with her roommate. Immediately feeling her panic at your question you were quick to whisper reassurance into your ear. You'd talk later.

It was time to sit and let the speech be given to officially start the family weekend. It was only then that you could feel the overwhelming sense of guilt rolling off your sister. Then you saw her. You must have been projecting emotions because your niece was quick to jab your ribs with her elbow. Sparing her a glance you could see the confusion written all over her face. You muttered a quick sorry before giving the women on stage your full attention once more. You hadn't laid eyes on the tall blonde haired beauty in years. Even after all this time you were entranced by her. The women who held your heart unknowingly was somehow at Nevermore. Then you realised she must be the headmistress Wednesday told you of. And she only confirmed this by addressing herself as Principle Weems.

Wednesday nudged you once more, startling you, you blinked rapidly before focusing once more on the people around you. When had the talk finished? And where the hell was your sister? Wednesday glanced at you knowingly before returning to teasing Pugsley on how weak he was without her. It was then you picked up on an overwhelming feeling of heartbreak which had you scanning the quad to identify the cause. Your eyes found purchase on a blonde haired girl who had pink and blue dip dyed ends. "Wednesday?" You queried nodding the the direction of the feeling. She instantly followed your train of thought and you could feel the anger rolling off of her. "Is that?" You mumbled to her receiving a nod. The smaller raven haired girl glaring daggers into the girls family's backs. You made a mental note to ask about this later.

Deciding to abandon your food, you silently got up and went in search of your sister. It wasn't exactly off for Morticia to just up and leave without an explanation, but what was odd was her reaction to arriving at Nevermore. You knew how she thought of Nevermore to be the most wonderful time of her life. After all it brought her to her love, resulting in her children and it didn't help that she was the most popular girl in your year. She had everyone at her feet in your Nevermore days.

You could feel the waves of guilt crashing into your form. Brutal and unrelenting waves. But why on earth would Tish be feeling this. At this magnitude as well. You were most certainly concerned and confused. You caught sight of your sister and approached her, gasping at how strong the feelings were becoming the closer you got. You let out an involuntary gasp gaining your sister's attention. "Tish..." you whimpered out feeling the onslaught of her emotions. "Rissa" was all that was muttered your way and the point of her fingers dismissing you just like that. With no explanations. That one word had your heart in your throat. And you scurried off in the direction your sister had shown you, and your sister left to return to her family.

Rounding the corner you caught sight of the women in your thoughts. Her usually tall frame seeming smaller as she faces away from you. Sadness rolling off of in waves. Crashing into your body as the waves do the shore. "Larissa?" You whispered trying not to spoke the clearly upset women. You watched as she attempted to gather herself and push her feelings down, "just a minute... what can I -oh!" She cut herself off after setting sights on you. You could see the tears staining her cheeks. What had happened between those two? "You look like you need a hug" you state as a matter of fact. Not expecting her to respond so willingly. You watched as she thought about it for a split second before throwing herself into your willing arms. Sobs wrecking through her body as it trembled in your arms. All you could do is sink to the ground and hold the women. You tried to push contentment and calming emotions her way.

The women in your arms gasped out when an unwearying feeling of love crashed into her. "You? You're? What?" She stuttered out sounding so unlike her usually controlled self. "Yes I'm an empath, yes I'm trying to calm you" you whispered out hoping not to lose her now. After all not many people knew of your empathy. Many assuming you were the polar opposite of your twin. Her being a dove made everyone instantly assume you were a raven. Ironically that was what her daughter became. "You love me?" The confusion evident. Love? Fuck! You'd let it slip. You sighed and tried to pull away from the women in your lap. She instantly moved to wrap you in her arms preventing you from leaving her. A hand gently cupping your chin forcing you to look into her ocean blue irises. You watched the emotions swirling there before whimpering "I do."

Slowly as if not to spook you, Larissa advanced leaning her forehead head on yours, calming your lips with hers in a delicate, innocent kiss. You instantly clutched on to her willing this to not be a dream. Your emotions were uncontrollable at the minute. Love and desire with a hint of fear, radiated from you. You were sure everyone at the quad would feel it. Pulling back from her you managed to whisper "wow" before bringing your fingers up to trace where her lips had been. Had that really just happened? "I love you too y/n, I always have" her admission making no sense. Didn't she want your sister?

"What? I thought you wanted Tish or Gomez?" You mumbled dumbly. This was not how you'd imagined this weekend would go. "No darling, Tish and I argued over my feelings for you, she thought I'd hurt you" your anger flaring at the new fact, no wonder you could feel guilt coming from Morticia. She'd taken your one chance at love away. And for what? Fear? Tears had began to flow down your cheeks silently as you processed the information.

Larissa brought her thumbs to your cheeks to brush away the tears. "Oh my darling, I know I know" she cooed hoping to help elevating the intense feelings you were experiencing with her touch. You instantly nuzzled into her touch allowing it to soothe you. It was only the the voice of your niece and sniffing cries of who you assumed was Enid that separated you from her. Quickly scanning through all the emotions present you could easily identify your niece and her rage. Enid being purely heartbroken and confused. You turned to look at your new found love and you muttered at the same time. "Wednesday!" Before heading off together to prevent a blood path that was sure to occur in the quad if you did not separate Wednesday from Enid's family.
