I woke up a bit later than usual, as today I was starting a bit later. I put on some music and jumped into the shower.
'What the...' I said as my music suddenly stopped. I grabbed my phone to turn the song back on, but I was surprised to see someone calling me.
Someone I haven't talked in months with. Someone I thought I'll never hear from again. However, without thinking twice, I picked up the phone.
'Hey.' I said, trying to control my happiness to hear his voice.
'Hi, Irina.' Neymar's voice echoed through the phone.
'Did something happen?' I asked worried.
'No, no, no.' And even though I couldn't see him, I knew he shook his head smiling. 'Are you busy?'
'Not right now.'
'Well... Davi saw you're in Barcelona and he really wants to see you, but both me and Caro have tol—'
'Woah, woah, woah, slow down.' I said cutting him off. 'Tell Davi to get ready and I'm going to go pick him up.'
'Irina, you don't—'
'Neymar, I'm serious.' I said cutting him off once again. 'Whatever happened between you and me doesn't affect Davi in any sort of way. I mean, not from my side anyways.'
'Okay, thank you.'
'Anytime.' I said ready to end the call.
'I hope you're doing well.'
'I am. I'll speak to you later, I need to get ready now.'
After I ended the call, I excitedly finished my shower and got ready. It was good to hear Neymar's voice... It was a relief I haven't felt in a long time.
I messaged Caro to send me the address and made my way to her house.

'Irinaaaa!' Davi screamed as soon as he saw me in the doorway.
'Daviiiiii!' I said with a massive smile.
He launched towards me and wrapped his arms around me, kissing the top of his head.
'Woah.' I said, my eyes wide. 'Look at you!'
'You always say this when you haven't seen me for long.' he says laughing, shaking his head.
'Because you get even more handsome everytime I don't see you.' I said ruffling his hair.
Caro was holding Valentin, so I went and placed a kiss on his cheek then on hers.
'You look good.' she said with a sympathetic smile.
'Thank you.' I said with a smile, knowing what she was implying.
She sat Valentin on the couch and then returned to me. 'Do you want anything to drink?'
'No, thank you.' I shook my head. 'I'm here to pick up this lovely young man.' I said glancing at Davi.
'He's been wanting to see you for ages...' she says shaking her head. 'But, you know... after what happened we didn't really know how to go around it.'
'Caro, please, next time this happens call me straight away.' I said smiling. 'Whatever happened between me and Ney has nothing to do with the friendship me and you and the boys built.' I shook my head. 'I'll never push Davi away. Or you. Or Valentin.'
'He's an idiot for letting you go.' Caro shook her head. 'You don't even want to know the things he heard from me.' she said laughing.
'Yeah, well he deserves it.' I said shrugging my shoulders with a smile.
