Without wanting to lose any work over what could be some silly sickness, me and Pedri were getting ready to head to the training centre.
'You can just call in and say you don't feel well.' Pedri insisted. 'Xavi will understand.'
'It's probably nothing.' I took a bite from my sandwich. 'I'm perfectly fine now, my stomach probably got a bit messed up, that's all.'
'Irina, I'm serious.' Pedri said sternly. 'We should go and check it out.'
'No doctors.' I shook my head. 'I don't like them and you know that.'

As soon as we got to the training centre, Pedri placed a soft kiss on my lips and headed to the changing rooms while I headed to mine and Ela's office.
'Pedri told me you're not feeling well.' Ela stood up from the couch as soon as she saw me entering. 'Are you okay?' she placed her hands on my arms.
'Yes.' I chuckled. 'It's probably just a stomach bug, it'll go away.' I smiled softly. 'Now I want to get to work and then I'll have to tell Pedri that we have to fly out for Ney's birthday.'
'Sharing pyjamas again?' she laughed.
'It looks like it.' I chuckled.

'How are you feeling?' Xavi asked me as soon as I stepped onto the pitch.
'How do you know?' I asked confused.
He glanced at Pedri and then turned back to me, a soft smile on his face. 'I know everything that moves around here.'
'Great.' I rolled my eyes playfully and headed towards where the players were so me and Ela can start shooting some content.
All of a sudden, Raphinha rushes towards us and grabs me by my arm, pulling me to the side.
'Are you pregnant?' he asks rapidly.
'What?!' my eyes instantly grow wide. 'No.' I shook my head. 'No, no way.' I said sternly. 'Me and Pedri are... we're careful. Most of the time.'
'Most of the time?' he asked confused.
'Raph, I adore your concern for me but you won't be seeing any mini Irinas or Pedris running around.' I chuckled. 'It was probably some stomach bug I caught in Maldives.' I shrugged my shoulders. 'I'm perfectly fine now and you don't have to worry.' I smiled.
'Why don't you want to check it out?'
'Because there's no need for that.' I smiled. 'Now let's get to work.'
