As soon as I was ready to leave the apartment and head to work to keep my dear Ela some company, Pedri steps out of the room all ready, holding
his training bag.

None of us was saying anything, just looking at eachother really intensely.

'Where are you going?' I broke the silence after a few moments.

'Where are you going?' he asked, his usual smile trying to break through.

'I asked first.' I said sternly.

'Ladies first.' he gestured towards me.

I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms. 'Together at the count of three.' I nodded my head. 'One, two, three.'

'Training.' 'Work.'

We both widened our eyes in surprise.

'You're not back until the 26th.'

'You're officially banned from working.'

'I'm just going to support Ela.' I shrugged my shoulders.

'Xavi called me in and if training goes well, I'll play.'

'And you didn't tell me?'

'I... erm... Yeah, I don't actually have an answer for that.' he chuckled, making me smile.

'So how was that going to work? Did you think I won't find out?' I smiled softly.

'Yep, didn't think about an answer for that either.' he chuckled and walked towards me, placing a kiss on my shoulder. 'Let's go.'

'What are you doing here?' Xavi asked as soon as we entered the training centre.

'I was honestly wondering the same thing.' I said and turned around to face Pedri.

'Ah, not him, you. What are you doing here?'

'I'm here to keep Ela company and...' I shrugged my shoulders. 'And support the boys.' I smiled.

'Didn't I tell you to stay at home and relax? I literally banned you.' Xavi chuckled.

'You banned me from working.' I rolled my guys. 'I'm not here to touch any of the working equipment, I promise.' I chuckled. 'Plus it's not like my work involves doing laps and...' I shrugged my shoulders. 'And star jumps.' I chuckled.

'Irina—'

'With all due respect, Xavi, I'm not staying at home, relaxing. I can't do it and I won't do it. Do you want me to go crazy?'

As soon as he tried to open his mouth to say something, I spoke okay.

'I'm already crazy, yeah, yeah.' I rolled my eyes. 'I need to go now, I'll see you two around.'

'Irina, what the hell are you doing here?' Ela asked chuckling, as soon as she saw me entering the office.

'I can't stay at home, El...' I plunged onto the couch, resting my hands on my bump. 'Everyone is telling me to relax and do this and do that...' I let out a sigh.

'Hey.' she said taking a seat next to me. 'You do whatever you feel it's right. You're the one carrying this baby and you're the one that knows what's best.' she smiled softly.

'Thank you.' I smiled. 'No one actually realises how hard it is being pregnant.'

'Because it's you.' she smiled.

As soon as me and Ela stepped onto the pitch so she can capture some shots, 30 minutes were spent with some of the players bombarding me with questions about how the pregnancy is going.
