I let out a sigh and took out the phone from my pocket. I dialled Infantino's number and placed the phone to my ear, waiting for an answer.
After a few rings, he answered. 'Miss Davies, hello.' he greeted me from the other side of the phone.
'Mr. Infantino, hope you're well.' I said.
'Did something happen? Are you okay?'
'Actually, I was wondering if me and Luca could miss today's match, including the meeting with the team beforehand.' I asked a bit hesitant.
He let out a chuckle. 'Of course, Irina. Wish Pedri a happy birthday.'
My whole expression lit up and I glanced at Luca giving him the thumbs up.
'Thank you so much, I will.' I said excited.
'Have a good day and stop worrying about things like this.' he chuckled. 'Bye Miss Davies.'
'Yeah, thank you, you too, bye bye.' I said rapidly in excitement.
I ended the call and placed the phone back in my pocket, looking at Luca. My face was lit up and my smile was growing more and more.
'We just bought ourselves some more time.' I squealed excitedly.
'Who are you people?' Marc glanced from me to Luca.
'We're superheroes.' Luca shrugged his shoulders.
'Yeah.' I nodded my head.
'Football magnet lioness an—'
'Bird brain.' I cut Luca off laughing.
'Ha ha, you're so funny, oh my god.' he said sarcastically.

The situation was the following. I was still on the floor behind the bar, while Luca was still pretending to talk to the bartender who was glancing from me to Luca, probably thinking we're crazy.
'Ok, so what's the next step? How do I get rid of you guys?' Marc asked with a smile.
'Well... if you don't want to let me speak to your Michelin Star Chef and you want to wait for Kylian Mbappe to do so, there's really not much.' I shrugged my shoulders. 'You'll be stuck with the two of us here.'
'And I doubt you're enjoying it as much as we are.' Luca added.
The boy let out a sigh. 'I can get fired.'
'You won't.' I said.
'We promise.' Luca smiled.
Marc took of his half apron and his cap and handed them to me. 'I assume whoever you're hiding from can easily recognise you.' he shrugged his shoulders. 'This might help a little bit.'
'Thank you.' I smiled softly, bringing all my hair into the cap and tying the apron around my waist.
'Why do you get to play dress up?' Luca asked like a child.
'Are you serious right now?' I frowned my eyebrows, a confused look on my face.
After Marc gave me the instructions on where to find the Chef, I left the two boys and headed towards the kitchen.
I was asking left and right if anyone's seen Simon Gagnaire, but all I was getting were shake of heads or ignores.
'Sorry, have you seen Mr. Gagnaire?'
'Go through that door and you'll find him.' a lady said. 'He's on his break.'
'Thank you ma'am.' I smiled politely.
