As I met most of the Brazilian players while I was dating Neymar, and also had the opportunity to work with some of them, I was pretty excited to see them.
As soon as they stepped outside, Raphinha sprinted towards me, wrapping his arms around me and swinging from left to right and right to left.
'I didn't know you missed me this much.' I chuckled.
'Oh, please.' he smiled. 'I'm marking my territory.'
I pushed him playfully, frowning my eyebrows. 'This territory is already marked.'
'Gosh, you make things so complicated.' he rolled his eyes with a chuckle.
Luca was returning with Adenor Leonardo Bacchi, but commonly known as Tite.
'Everyone's drooling over you.' Neymar said, hugging me.
'Everyone's acting like little kids.' I let out a sigh.
The boys welcomed both Tite and Luca.
'Prazer em conhecer você!' I smiled, shaking his hand.
'The pleasure is all mine, Miss Davies.' he said softly, a thick accent coming through.
The players I didn't get a chance to meet were introducing themselves to me, only one person totally ignoring my existence.
Richarlison.
'What's up with him?' Luca asked quietly.
'I have no clue.' I shrugged my shoulders. 'Hey.' I grabbed Neymar. 'What's up with him?' I glanced towards Richarlison.
'Why are you asking me, and not him?' he asked confused. 'I have no clue.'
'You have no clue?' I raised my eyebrows.
'He used to be so excited to see Irina and now he's acting like she's not even here and you don't know?' Luca asked Ney.
'I don't know.' he said sternly.
I rolled my eyes, letting out a sigh and gestured to Neymar to return to the players.
I glanced at Tite and he gave me the approval nod to go ahead and do my job.
'Even though I speak Portuguese, you all speak English. So it's easier for me to get through everything, speaking in English. Both me and Luca had the pleasure to work with some of you, and create both professional and personal friendships.' I smiled. 'Throughout your stay in the competition, we'll be present during your trainings, filming content, shooting some interviews, and taking care of your images and accounts.'
'Today we'll be snapping some pictures while you train, so nothing too intense.' he smiled. 'Any questions, any problems you guys face, you can come to me and Irina and we'll sort it out.'
'With that being said, we can get to work.' I clap. 'Unless you have any questions for us now.'
Raphinha grins and raises his hand like he's in school.
'Go ahead.' I say.
'How does it feel to be loved by so many?'
Tite's eyes widened in shock but I gave him a quick smile, letting him know that everything is okay.
'Unless you guys have any death threatening questions, I'll move on.'
The players chuckled, and started their training.
