Triple Overtime? Seriously?

California is GORGEOUS. Yup that's right. Me, Ruby, Gus and Petr decided to come with for the guys' game in Anaheim and I couldn't be happier. I love the feeling of the sun on my skin and wearing shorts. Don't get me wrong the weather in Chicago has been getting higher up but it doesn't compare to the feeling where I don't have to worry about throwing some leggings in the car in case the temperature drops. Plus I've never been the Cali before so it made this all the better!!

"Kels! Jonathan Sadowski is going to the game tonight!" Ruby said. For those of you who don't know who the gorgeous and wonderful Jonathan Sadowski is, he is Josh from the hit show Young & Hungry with Emily Osment. I love that show so much and it makes it so much more exciting that one of the actors from my favorite show is going to be at the game tonight and not only that. BUT HE'S CHEERING FOR THE HAWKS!!

"I know!! I just saw his post on Instagram! I am beyond hopeful that we will run into him tonight. I will make it happen." I said. Petr and Gus just laughed but the never understand the abilities of a fan girl. You do not doubt us.

"Okay! We have a good 4 hours before we need to get to the arena so let's go shopping!!" I said linking my arms with Ruby's and Gus', this was going to be an amazing day.

We finally got done shopping around 7 pm and made our way back to the hotel in order to change and get ready for the game at 9 pm. I decided on my Sharp road jersey for today and my signature black skinny jeans and red vans. Ruby wore her home Kane jersey and a pair of black yoga pants with Nike slides today. We bought Gus and Petr some blackhawks jerseys so that they can fit in and support. Gus got Toews and Petr got Shaw. We were currently on our way to the Honda Center finally at about 8 pm and let me tell you, we were getting so hyped up it was crazy. We blasted Chelsea Dagger and Don't Stop Believin' in the car on the way from the hotel. We were beyond ready for a win tonight and I know the guys are going to work to get it.

"Ruby! Are you ready to stalk Jonathan Sadowski and get this win??" I said.

"Kels, you don't know if either of those are really going to happen relax." Petr said.

"Hey! Petr! Suck. My. Ass." I said. Gus started cracking up the second I said that.

"Kels, that has to be the weirdest thing I have ever heard you say. Stop." Ruby said laughing. I was beyond ready for this game no one gets it. We finally got to the Honda Center and I instantly went on Instagram to start seeing if Jonathan Sadowski posted anything. He posted a video of him and his friends being excited to be here and before I could say anything to Ruby I ended up running smack into him....

"Oh my god. You're Jonathan Sadowski." I said. Oh my god...

"Yes I am and you're Kelsey Baker. You're dating the captain." He said with a smile. Oh my god. Jonathan Sadowski knows who I am. What is my fucking life?!?!

"Yes I am. This is Ruby, Kaner's girlfriend, Gustav Nyquist and Petr Mrazek." I said introducing my group.

"You have quite the group here Kelsey. So I take it you're a fan of the show, since you know who I am." He said smiling.

"Oh you don't understand. She is obsessed with the show. She will constantly yell 'Team Josh' when she's watching it." Ruby said. I turned to give her a dirty look.

"Well Kelsey. Would you like a picture?" He said.

"A picture with my favorite actor from my favorite show representing one of my favorite teams? God yes!" I said handing Ruby my phone and moving over next to Jonathan. I could not believe it. We took a couple pictures as well as some for Ruby with him and some of him with the guys before we said our goodbyes and moved to go find our seats.

"I love away games. But the one game I am terrified to go to has to be them verse Detroit next season. Ilike I'm worried about the fact that I'll be wearing my Nyquist jersey and Jonathan is going to look stupid at the fact his girlfriend isn't supporting him." I said to Ruby.

"You do have a Nyquist jersey don't you. I saw it hanging up in your room this morning. When did you get it?" Gus said. Well that's embarrassing..I think

"I got it in December before I came to your game against the Sabres in January." I said confidently. January was such a good time for me. I went to Joe Louis 3 times all together.

"Oh that was a good game. Hank got a hat trick that game right?" Petr said.

"Yeah and then I went to the game against the Wild where it went to shoot out and then also college hockey in the D for MSU verse U of M." I said happily. God I miss hockey games at home.

"That's cool. You've had a hockey filled 2015 so far." Gus said.

"Yeah and I absolutely love every second of it." I said.

The game started to a wonderful start. Shawzey got and early goal in the first period with assists from Keith and Toews. I always get so excited when Jonathan has a goal or an assist. Then again about 4 minutes later Bicks got a goal with an assist from Richards. They were off to a wonderful start. But then Anaheim came back and with a goal from Cogliano with his assists from Thompson and Fowler. Defense for the Hawks was good tonight though and Corey wasn't going to let much by him tonight no matter what. But then came the second period. We were winning 2-1 until Perry got himself a goal with his assists from Gretzlaf and Vatanen at the end of the second. The third was less eventful with it still a tied up game. It was going to go into overtime.

"Seriously....its 2 am back in Detroit and 1 am back in Chicago and here we are watching the third period of overtime. What the fuck man?" I said getting restless. Yup you heard that right. Triple overtime for the boys and Anaheim. I'm starting to get really tired. Petr almost fell asleep and Ruby is getting cranky as all hell. This game needs to end soon.

"Kels, this is the price of playoff hockey. No shoot outs." Gus said.

"Okay well if I were the officials I would've counted Shawzey's headbutt of the puck in. It was double overtime and it was a clean ass headbutt. I would count it even if it were Anaheim." I said angrily.

"Kels, now come on. It's a specific rule that it does not count. You can't just break the rules because you're tired." Gus said laughing. Just then Kruger did it. At 16:12 into the third period of overtime the hawks took it with assists from Seabs and Oduya.

"Finally!!!!! Oh my god! We have to go meet up with the guys! RUBY! PETR! LET'S GO!!" I said excitedly.

"Kelsey!! They won!!!" Ruby said jumping up. I guess it just hit her. We ran down to where the locker room was and before I could even have a second to breath Jonathan was out and picking me up in a big hug.

"Babe! We did it! Kicked their ass on their home ice!" He said. God I love this man so much.

"I know baby! You even got yourself an assist added to your stats. Good job love." I said giving him a kiss. I love when he's in this mood oh my god.

"Okay now baby I have to go change. I probably smell like shit I'm sorry." He said giving me a final kiss before going back into the locker room.

"God you guys are so cute Ramina." Ruby said.

"Thanks. I really do love him Ruby. I hope we get married." I said honestly. I've never said I can see myself with someone forever. I don't say forever. But Jonathan, he is my forever.
