It wasn't exactly warm out this evening but it also wasn't really cold either it was just nice enough. Silas Karlisle was walking by himself from his aunt and uncle's house where he was visiting to his all too familiar destination. He walked at a slow, calm and steady pace. He was in no hurry. He'd come here to stay with his aunt and uncle a couple weeks ago for this one sole destination this one purpose. He was heading towards the house his aunt and uncle used to live in. The house his younger cousin had been found dead in.

He'd been doing this for the past three going on to four years now since his cousin had been killed. He knew he would continue to visit this same place on this same day for a long time to come or until his uncle finally somehow managed to sell the damn place.

"No one's going to buy it," he muttered quietly to himself. "Who would when so many people died there in a short amount of time? And now with three more additional deaths in the same place subsequent years later."

Silas knew all about the place he was heading towards. His cousin and her family had lived there before everything happened causing them to move abandoning almost everything there. He knew all about the murders that took place there. His cousin had died there too. Two other people had also died in that house one a year after his cousin and the other just last year. That's why the place had been vacated and remained vacant. Those deaths. That's why he doubted anyone would want to buy it and live there.

"Why?" he asked himself. "Why did she go back to that house instead of going for help for her wounds? Why had two other people gone to the house to die instead of getting the help that might have saved them? could anything have been done to save any of them?"

Silas knew the stories going around since the first murders took place at the house going on five years ago. He'd heard about how one of the original ten had most likely made an enemy of someone and that had led to the massacre that had happened. He'd also heard the story of some deal gone wrong. That one of his cousin's friends had been in on the whole plan to kill the others, either for safety from the criminals he possibly ticked off or for money, but had been stabbed in the back and also killed.

"If that really was the case I bet it was that short flame haired guy. He looked like he could and would have done something like that."

Silas remembered all too clearly hearing the rumors going around about how one of Akari's friends had been in on the attack. It was rumored that that's why her house had been the one chosen and why so many people had died. If that had been the case then who'd been the one in on the whole thing if it hadn't been the short one with the weird hair and why had they been double crossed and also killed?

Silas also remembered hearing the massacre had been a drug deal gone wrong. No drugs had been found at the house though. That also didn't explain the deaths. If it had been a drug deal gone wrong who'd been the one getting the drugs? How could they have ticked off their dealer to the point of everyone getting killed? Silas doubted the drug deal gone wrong theory. Something told him drugs had nothing to do with why people had been killed at his aunt and uncle's house.

In the end no one really knew what happened at the house and they might never know what happened there. There was no leads to follow and the case had gone completely cold now. The rumors also started to die down as people lost interest in the event. The case of what happened that night and why was no longer interesting to people. No one was ever accused or convicted of the horrible crime and the police stopped talking to people. No one was even trying anymore to solve the case. Silas hoped one day someone would be held accountable for the deaths of his cousin's friends as well as her own death and the death of the guy who was found there last year. That thought brought him to thinking about his cousin again.
