Free sat next to Naoki on the couch. The scientist was hooking up the audio recorder to what Free now knew for sure was his laptop.
"Okay you see on the side here of my file system there is a file that says file.AR?" Naoki asked Free
"Yeah."
"That's to open the audio recorder file. Everything recorded on it will be there. Okay you see the list of the locations you and Jin visited tonight?" Naoki asked as Free nodded. "Those are the recordings. I'm going to take each one and put it on my laptop then we're going to listen to them then put the ghostly voices into the program and match them up to the victims okay?"
"Yeah," Free responded.
"Okay. Let's hear what Katana in the basement had to say."
"Katana I have a request for you. Free here doesn't quite believe in ghosts or that you're even trapped here so we have to show him. Can you say something into the audio recorder to show him it's really you?"
"Katana Sakaki. Age nineteen. Birthday March 22. That enough for him?"
A snicker was heard from Silas. He tried to hide it as a cough but it was a bit hard. Free looked over at him with a worried look until he realized Silas was trying to not laugh.
"Sounds like Katana's getting a little snappy," Silas commented after he'd gotten his snickers under control. "I wonder if he's unhappy that Free doesn't believe he's real."
"Silas enough," Naoki gently told Silas.
"Sorry. I just find the tone in Katana's voice a little funny."
"Next up Gabe in the garage," Naoki told Free.
"Gabe I have a non believer of ghosts with me. I'm trying to prove you exist so I need you to say something to him please."
"A Non believer huh. Not like I really care if someone believes we exist or not."
"Gabe almost sounds like he's given up," Naoki commented while Jin nodded.
"Maybe he thinks he'll be trapped here forever?" Clio voiced out.
"Maybe," Naoki agreed.
"Lui should be next," Jin advised. "Play that one. Free might get a surprise."
"What. De La Hoya? What's he doing here?"
"Thank you Lui. You just helped me prove to him ghosts exist."
"He doesn't believe huh. Well good for him. He can leave."
Free and I were heading to the kitchen so that's why you here Lui's voice getting fainter," Jin explained. "He probably would have followed us if he could've."
"Lui and I had known each other for a couple years before he died. Only he hated me to the point of addressing me by my last name," Free commented starting to believe in ghosts more now.
"Now for the kitchen," Naoki continued.
"So Who's in here?"
"Shinki. Shinki I have someone new with me. This is Free. We're trying to prove to him ghosts exist. Can you say something to him?"
