Note: There may or may not be a chapter next week. I'm getting my wisdom teeth out at the end of this week coming up and whether there is an update or not depends on how I'm feeling afterwards. So sorry in advanced if there is no update next Saturday. Now please enjoy.
Jin and Naoki sat in the same spot on the same beach as when they were at the month long youth camp that had just recently ended for the year. They were waiting for the other members of their group to arrive so they could head to the house everyone in Beigoma knew as the Massacre Murder House. Jin sat silently staring out over the ocean contemplating how he was going to address the trapped ghosts he knew were in the house. Naoki was sitting beside him setting up things on his laptop.
"Setting up an organized system for the evidence you hope to find?" Jin asked him.
"Yes," Naoki replied. "I'm also setting up my laptop to store larger amounts of video and audio evidence of paranormal activity and prosses it quickly. If these ghosts you say exist actually do exist I should be able to record evidence of them like things moving on their own or voices that aren't ours maybe even ghostly forms."
"Sounds good," Jin mused with a small smile.
Silence fell as the duo continued to wait for their friends. Five minutes later Clio Delon arrived. He arrived silently and suddenly and took a seat next to Jin. After a couple minutes of silence he spoke softly.
"Who are we waiting for?"
"Just Suoh and Fubuki," Naoki answered.
"Couldn't convince anyone else to join in on our little adventure?" Clio stated with a smirk.
"No everyone else I asked were either afraid to go anywhere near that house or they didn't really believe the story of what happened there and don't see a reason to go there," Jin told him. "It was mostly to former excuse I got."
"It's also possible they just really don't care about the house or the events that took place there," Naoki voiced out unconcerned about anything really going on around him at this time and focusing on his laptop.
"Possibly," Jin agreed also mostly unconcerned.
More silence followed. Finally after another ten minutes of waiting Suoh and Fubuki arrived. Suoh remained quiet and stoic as he approached the bench Naoki, Jin and Clio sat on. He had no frown on his face but he also didn't smile either and he didn't seem to be in any hurry to reach the bench. Fubuki didn't smile or frown either and he was also quiet. He at least offered a wave and a greeting. Suoh didn't really greet anyone. He just stood there waiting.
"Hey. Is everyone here?" Fubuki asked.
"Everyone I could rally to come," Jin informed in a cool calm tone.
"Sorry we're late. Traffic was bad," Suoh stated in the same cool calm tone as Jin.
"It's fine. You made it in time," Jin dismissed.
"I had to tell me parents Fubuki and I were simply meeting some friends on the beach to hang out at one of the youth clubs."
"Suoh's parents aren't too keen on visiting that house," Fubuki told the group. "It was the only way they'd let us come. Mine also wouldn't be too happy about this. They think I'm hanging out at Suoh's tonight."
"Anyone have a curfew? Suoh what club did you say we were going to?" Jin asked.
"I told them it was the Ocean Bey Club and Fubuki and I have no curfew. I also told my parents Fubuki and I had a ride back home later."
