There was so much fear and chaos around. Everyone was either injured or worse. In front of him was the man with green and yellow hair and red eyes. They were fighting and he was losing. He was gasping from pain and exhaustion. He was also terrified just like everyone else. He had been stabbed a couple times already and his left arm had a long deep slice in it and he really couldn't move it much anymore. He could also feel pain in his chest when he breathed in deeply then breathed out.
His opponent no longer had his weapon though. He'd found a way to disarm him and they were both now fighting weaponless between the stairs leading upstairs to the bedrooms and the back door. Several large and painful bruises were also starting to form on his body and he was unsteady on his feet. Still he had to fight. He had to find a way to stay alive until help came. Fighting this guy was the only way.
As the guy ran at him he managed to dodge but the unknown guy aimed a kick which hit him in the abdomen and forced him to his knees. The guy approached and grabbed him by his shirt collar. He lashed out at him and the guy dropped him. He tried to flee at this point but his opponent grabbed his right arm and pulled it hard behind his back twisting it plus he was already weak and tired from fighting him. He felt a snap and a pop and great pain. He growled out in pain but didn't scream.
His right shoulder was definitely dislocated and it also felt like his arm might be broken too. It hung uselessly at his side. He was unable to move it even a little bit. He was kicked again in the chest and it felt like he'd been hit with a truck. He went down gasping and coughing. Some blood escaped his lips. Something inside had been damaged.
"Damn I won't last long. Not like this."
He struggled to his feet and tried to run for the back door. He was too slow though do to exhaustion and his injuries and his opponent grabbed his left arm and pulled him down to the floor before he could get very far. He felt another painful pop as his left shoulder was also dislocated. The next thing he knew blows were raining down on his head and stomach and his back and sides. He curled up to try and protect himself. Before he blacked out he felt himself being lifted up by his shirt collar and he was thrown against the open back door which then slammed against the wall. He barely felt the pain of something snapping in his back. Then he was thrown hard to the floor. He was barely conscious when the man who'd beaten him up so badly finally left. He was barely conscious when help finally arrived.
"Hold on. We're going to get you to a hospital. You're going to be okay."
He felt himself pass out several minutes later as he was lifted onto a stretcher and wheeled out to an ambulance. He felt nothing after that. He woke in the hospital once. There was great pain but it would soon be all over. Three days later he felt nothing at all. He was gone.
"Clio. Clio wake up. Clio."
Clio opened his eyes. He woke up laying on the couch. He'd fallen asleep. Jin was kneeling next to him shaking him gently. He'd been the one calling his name. Clio shook his head and sat up.
"Jin? What's happened?"
"You were whimpering and reacting badly to whatever you were dreaming about."
Clio looked around. Everyone was resting in various places Free and Naoki were awake and making plans to capture one of the criminals and get Free's phone back. Silas was sitting in a chair looking at him with tired looking but worried eyes. Suoh and Fubuki were also awake watching him. They'd laid down under the window to sleep for a bit and had woken to Clio's whimpers.
