Here's the next chapter for you. I meant to post this sooner but things got in the way so I couldn't but it's up now. Comment and or vote and let me know what you think. Now please enjoy.

After a brief break Clio left the living room for the stairs to the second floor. Bowie was of course there. He was sitting in the middle of the stairs with his back to the railing closer to the living room. One leg was stretched out on the stair he was sitting on and the other one was resting on the one just below him bent at the knee. Jin described the scene when he joined Clio at the stairs.

"Clio are you really sure you want to continue doing this?" Jin asked after turning on the audio recorder he'd brought to the stairs with him.

"Yes," Clio said with a nod. "Bowie can you please show me how you died? I'd really like to know what happened."

"Yes Bowie he's serious...He knows how you show him," Jin addressed the spirit.

Clio took a deep calming breath and closed his eyes to focus solely on Bowie. He hadn't quite gotten over seeing Shinki's horrible death yet but he didn't think Bowie's was quite as bad as what the green haired boy had gone through.

Clio could see the stairs through Bowie's eyes as he approached them the night of his untimely death. It was dark. Bowie hadn't turned on any lights. There was a figure in the hallway near the stairs.

"Kyo?" Bowie questioned as he approached the stairs. "What are you doing up still?"

"I decided to get some water. What about you?"

"Freddy didn't return to our room. I was going to see if maybe he was asleep on the couch. He's done that before."

"That's where he was last time I saw him. He fell asleep before the movie ended and Mick and Akari left him there."

"I thought so."

Bowie and Kyo descended the stairs quietly so as to not wake anyone else. Kyo got to the bottom first as Bowie had paused. Something felt wrong. He could just barely see Lui's small form slumped against the wall by the front door. He couldn't see much into the kitchen but he thought he could see something laying on the floor in there and had there been a shadow looming near the way into the kitchen. Bowie couldn't really see what it was but something inside him just didn't feel right.

"Lui passed out drunk and we just left him there to sleep it off. It's better then going near him and him waking up only to verbally abuse us for being near him," Kyo told Bowie when he'd noticed Bowie's attention on Lui.

"Wouldn't he have woken up already and gone to his room upstairs by now though?" Bowie asked out loud softly as he got to the middle of the stairs loosing what little view he'd had of the kitchen but could still see Lui if he looked behind him at the door.

"Depends on how much he drank. Katana said that it was a lot."

Suddenly a feeling that something was behind him made Bowie stop again. Bowie would have looked behind him but whoever it was put a knife to his throat and pinned him to their body so he couldn't.

"This is your last night alive and all because you were here," Clio heard a male voice say to Bowie.

"Kyo run. Run now," Bowie yelled to the younger boy who was now running for the back door. "Intruders," Bowie yelled as loud as he could.

Lui didn't stir and Bowie saw no movement from the living room where Freddy was supposed to be sleeping. Were they both injured and unconscious? Had something even worse happened? Bowie wasn't sure but he knew they weren't okay. The question of what or who was in the kitchen came into Bowie's mind?
