Suoh and the rest of his friends minus Free who was still in the possession of the criminals gathered around in the living room. It had only been a few minutes since Suoh's mother had called Free's phone and Suoh had to talk to her. They figured the criminals were angry with how things had happened. Free had carefully chosen his words while revealing the situation to Suoh's mother and Suoh had backed him up. If she was as worried and protective as Suoh had implied she was she would trust her instincts and call the police anyway just to have them check in with the group. The question now was is she suspicious about where Suoh and his friends were?
"Mother really didn't sound too convinced when I hung up with her," Suoh informed his friends. "I think she'll call the police just to check in on us anyway especially if Fubuki and I don't return to my house in the next couple hours or so."
"So we need to catch these guys before the police get here and make their job easier," Jin stated calmly.
"The question is how?" Fubuki questioned.
"We wait for Kurt to get into the garage and use the net on him," Jin insisted. "Than the trapped ghosts can help us capture Theodore. It's getting to the point the ghosts can leave the spots they died in and they could assist us in someway."
"Did you finish talking to Gabe about him helping us before the whole phone call with my mother thing happened?" Suoh asked Jin.
"Yes I did. I was just returning from the garage when that happened. Now we know Free's doing okay. We just have to find a way to save him."
"We'll think of some way to help him," Naoki expressed. "If they don't kill him for the phone call thing."
"I wonder why they let him answer the call," Suoh stated.
"He obviously found a way to get them to let him," Naoki answered.
"I hope he'll be okay until we can get him back," Clio said softly.

Free leaned against the tree the two criminals had placed him under breathing hard and quick. Kurt had just finished beating him up for the phone call incident. Right before he had started, while their backs were turned to him Free managed to get the audio recorder out of his pocket with both hands still bound in front of him and hide it in a patch of long grass right at the trunk of the tree. Not long after he'd hidden the audio recorder the beating started.
"You thought that would work in your favour?" Kurt spat out as he rained down punches and kicks onto Free.
"What I find so intriguing is he thought he would get away with it whether it worked or not," Theodore mused. "Now we could kill you right now for the trouble. We should. Then go in, get Norman back by force and kill the rest of your pathetic group of friends and get out of here hopefully before anyone else shows up."
"You're running out of time," Free informed him in a calm tone as the beating stopped and Kurt walked over to Theodore.
"I think I'll save you for last however. We might even decide to take you with us for ransom or a hostage or for any of our other various plans. I'm sure you'll come in handy for one of them," Theodore threatened with a smirk.
