Tristian's eyes pleaded for help as he gazed at his family, his voice laced with desperation. "Can't you help me stop them? Just a little?" he asked, his hopeful expression faltering.

His grandfather's response was resolute, his voice firm and unyielding. "That's not going to happen, Tristian. The twins have gone to great lengths to bring this girl to you, so don't ruin it for them."

Tristian's frustration simmered just below the surface, his eyes flashing with exasperation. "But how am I supposed to win over a complete stranger? I know nothing about this young woman - her likes, dislikes, nothing! And yet, they expect me to woo her effortlessly?"

His voice rose, his words tumbling out in a rush of emotion. "It's absurd! I'm not some kind of puppet to be manipulated at their whim. Can't they see that?" His eyes searched his family's faces, seeking understanding, but finding only stubborn resolve.

His mother's eyes shone with encouragement as she offered her advice. "Get to know her, Tristian. Be her friend, take her out for a stroll, and see where things go. It'll help you relax around her."

His grandmother's soft voice added a gentle persuasion. "I'm sure she won't refuse your friendship, dear. She seems like a kind soul."

His grandfather's expression turned pointed, his voice firm. "Listen, Tristian, I think she'd make a fine wife. Do as we said - get close to her, and see where it leads. If the twins could convince her to stay on her first visit, I doubt she'll be leaving anytime soon."

He paused, his eyes narrowing slightly. "That girl isn't as straightforward as she appears. Her confidence is something I've never seen in any of the women you've brought home before."

His father nodded in agreement. "And have you seen the way she is with the kids? She's taken a liking to them, that's for sure. I saw it in her eyes, her actions, the way she interacted with them in such a short time. She's got a special way with them, Tristian."

His father's smile broadened as he recalled the incident. "The way she stood up to that man who called her earlier, that shows her passion for protecting children. She's got a fierce maternal instinct, Tristian."

Tristian's brow furrowed, his voice laced with concern. "But what if she doesn't feel the same way after I've wooed her? Wouldn't that hurt the boys even more?"

His grandfather's expression turned proud, his voice booming with confidence. "Nonsense, Tristian! Why wouldn't she fall for you? You're not only handsome, but you're also powerful, kind-hearted, and a devoted father to two wonderful boys who light up her face whenever she's around them. Just relax, be yourself, and follow your heart."

His grandfather's words were infused with a warm, reassuring tone, as if he knew a secret that Tristian had yet to discover.

Tristian's whisper was barely audible, but his family heard him clearly. "I may be all those things, but she never saw that in me."

His mother's voice was firm, her words a gentle rebuke. "Tristian, her decision to leave wasn't your fault. She chose to walk away from you and the boys on her own, so don't ever blame yourself."

His mother's expression softened, a warm smile spreading across her face. "Why don't you go talk to her while I help the maids prepare a delicious dinner? Maybe you can start fresh."

Tristian's response was a muttered whisper, a thought spoken aloud without realization. "I don't have anything reasonable to say to her..." His eyes dropped, his shoulders slumping in defeat.

His grandfather's raised brows emphasized his words, a hint of playful teasing in his voice. "Go talk to her, Tristian! Tonight's the perfect opportunity to start your mission of wooing her, unless you'd rather let the kids take the reins."
