You did something to me, I don't know what it was but I do know that I don't want to lose you. You always keep a smile upon my face and I can act like myself because you accept me. You mean so much to me, the way you make me feel is just unexplained. This is the happiest I've been in a awhile and I have to thank you for that. You just make it so easy to fall for you and believe me, I'm falling harder with each passing day.
___________________"___________________Tristian's men moved stealthily through the shadows, their dark attire blending seamlessly with the night. Grant signaled for two of them to blend in, and they swiftly shed their black clothes, donning hoodies to mingle with the crowd. As they strolled past Isa and Scarlett, Tristian observed the tall man's sudden movement, his eyes scanning the surroundings until they locked onto one of Tristian's men. Isa's gaze narrowed, his jaw clenched in suspicion, as he instinctively pushed Scarlett behind him.
The air seemed to chill, the tension palpable, as Isa turned to face Scarlett, who looked up at him with confusion, her hands still busy binding her hair into a ponytail. The atmosphere was electric, heavy with unspoken warnings and veiled threats, as the two groups sized up Smithsothereir intentions hanging precariously in the balance.
It had been months since he last saw her, but the passage of time had only enhanced her beauty. Her long, honey-brown hair was now styled in a sleek bun, with a few stray strands framing her face like delicate brushstrokes on a masterpiece. Her blue-green eyes, a captivating blend of sapphire and emerald, gazed up at the huge man with a hint of curiosity, her brows furrowed in a subtle expression of concern.
The soft lighting danced across her features, accentuating the gentle curves of her face and illuminating the sprinkle of freckles across her cheeks. She looked even more enchanting than he remembered, and his heart skipped a beat as her eyes met Isa's. She looked so enchanting and he couldn't wait to hold her again, to do legal things to her, things that would have her writhing and whimpering, don't blame him, that is his wife.
Tristian's eagerness to hold her was short-lived, as Isa swiftly moved in, enveloping her in a powerful embrace. His muscular arms wrapped around her, pressing her against the car with a tender yet possessive grip. For a fleeting moment, Isa's eyes gleamed with a primal intensity, sending a shiver down the spines of Tristian's men. They exchanged uneasy glances, feeling an inexplicable sense of suffocation as if the air had been sucked out of the atmosphere as Tristian's jaw clenched tightly, his grip on his gun was strong, he was fucking jealous and he wants nothing but to fucking shot Isa in the head for touching what was his, Scarlett was only his and his kid's.
The men's instincts screamed a warning, sensing a subtle yet unmistakable message: she was under Isa's protection, and crossing him would come at a steep price, not that they were afraid of getting Isa hurt, it's Scarlett they didn't want to hurt because she was their priority, moreover, they were dreading how Tristian was going to act, the amount of bloodlust Tristian was emitting was suffocating his men. Tristian, however, was too consumed by his own emotions to notice the subtle dynamics at play.
Isa swiftly swept Scarlett into his arms, his movements fluid and protective, as he strode into the airport's confines. A shiver ran down his spine, but he remained unfazed, his focus fixed on the path ahead. Scarlett's voice rang out, firm and commanding, "Isa, don't hurt anyone." Isa's response was a cold, mirthless snort, his red lips pursing in disdain. His rich blue eyes narrowed, freezing into an icy stare as he gazed ahead, his brows drawing together in a formidable scowl. With each step, his eyes seemed to chill further, his gaze piercing through the crowds like a winter's blast. Scarlett's words had little effect on his resolute demeanor, his jaw set in determination.
Isa's words tumbled out in a rapid succession of questions, his curiosity and frustration finally boiling over. "Why do you always forgive him? What makes him so special? Are his actions not unforgivable enough for him to understand the gravity of his mistakes? Or do you simply want to sabotage the only marriage you've ever known?" Isa's voice was laced with a mix of desperation and urgency, his eyes fixed on some point ahead, avoiding Scarlett's gaze.
