Hey there!
It's really important to keep the following text in mind as I don't normally make an announcement.
Good evening. I hope you've had the chance to read this book. I just want to express my deep appreciation to all of you who took the time to read it, even if some of you chose not to vote for it. Your support means a lot to me. As my mom used to say, "Man is not God." I am truly grateful to everyone who believed in me and my work. Now, let's get straight to the point 😅.
I'm thrilled to share that this book has been nominated for the Wattys 2024 and yes I have decided to make it a *series* because I have grown fond of my characters, the Hernandezs and Zwicks.
This wouldn't have been possible without the support of two special people, FatimaCredo and Votex670. Your encouragement has helped me immensely, especially during the difficult time after losing my mom. Votex, your comments kept me motivated when I was feeling low.
There are people here trying to connect with their readers, but their hands keep hanging midair like mine, and it's the most painful thing I have ever felt. It's incredibly depressing, and sometimes you keep turning in bed all night trying to fight your demons that breathe on your neck at the failure of not being able to connect with your readers. They read, but ignore the hand behind those books, with no appreciation whatsoever. It always feels as if there are thousands of hands gripping your heart, it's suffocating. I mean, you write for free and don't get appreciated, but when they buy the books, they appreciate the one behind them.
I'm not saying don't appreciate them, but at least give free writers some credit. It's not easy to stay up pulling up good chapters for your readers. Those authors behind the curtains need appreciation, motivation, and love through comments and votes. Even a simple word like "good" is enough to put a smile on their faces. We are all humans, and unity makes us stronger, unbeknownst to some people. Authors need that love, and it doesn't hurt to love those you don't know because at the end of the day, what are we?
Dust, that is what we are. Life is very fragile, and we should make memories that will make people smile when we pass one day. We need to impact lives, and that one comment, vote, and share could save someone from depression and mental breakdown. You might save someone without even knowing because some authors are here to escape their demons. Please, be supportive and appreciative towards us as we do to you.
At one point, I considered removing all my books from here, but I'm relieved that I didn't. To my silent readers, I want to clarify that I value every one of you. Knowing the people behind the views, votes, and comments would bring me great joy. I may not be the most outgoing person, but being here has inspired me to try to connect more with others. Thank you all 🥰🙏.
I also want to mention that Shaami is a dear friend of mine, and I miss her a lot. I hope she is doing well ❤️🥰.
I hope some of you are not angered by my words though, and if you are I sincerely apologize for making you feel like that but yeah, I'm not sorry for speaking the truth. 😘
