Wishes Of US ~Jinkook~

Promise

"Hyung you know why starts are so lonely yet beautiful?" I asked while watching the stars.
"Who said they are lonely?" Seokjin giggled.
"Why aren't they hyung?"
"They have moon Jungkook. They still stay even new moon comes once a month. Because they know the moon will be back no matter what."
"Why do they trust that much?"
"Cause moon didn't break his promise until now."
"Until now? So the promise of the moon can be broken someday?"
"Who knows Jungkook? Everything has an end. We are not here for eternity. The same goes for the moon and stars as well."
"But promises are for protection for eternity. Not for break easily."
"Easy to say."
"That's why those are valuable. Promises are not for everyone hyung. Those are for those who can protect them no matter what happened."
"Are you one of them Jungkook?" Seokjin now turned his face to watch my reaction to his words.
"Maybe. I want to be one." I smiled.
"Then I want to be one too." he smiled and again turned his eyes to watch the stars.

4 weeks have passed here. Only one week left until training ends. During these weeks I grew towards Jin hyung so much. I don't want to leave now. That's why I applied for the teaching assistant position to stay with him. 

"Today will be the last day of our training. After the walk, you will get two days' vacation. " the commander announced. 
"Finally...". Everyone sighed but I didn't. I don't want to end it here.

I didn't get it. Even though my physical tests are better than others I failed my oral test. This is the nightmare I waited for since I applied for the position. I cried while hugging him middle of the night at out usual place.

"I don't wanna leave you hyung." I cried and cried. This is the nth time I am mumbling same thing.
"Jungkookah... 16 months is not a big deal. We can talk everyday even you are going far from here."
"Easy to say hyung. I will miss you. How can I stay there without you hyung?"
"Hoseok will stay with you. So don't worry too much. We will talk everyday okay? Promise me you stay safe there."
"I'll hyung. I promise."
"Promises aren't for break."
"I know hyung."

I left him and came to frontline. We talked everyday about our daily routines. What I know is we didn't say each other tgat we like each other. It seems like we don't need a clarification or a word for describe what is between us. We didn't want to give it a name. We just stay at the moment with our best ability.
