Taylor didn't really understand why she was the one sent alongside Steve to capture Loki in Germany. It was like Fury felt the unspoken tension between them and decided to stir some drama because apparently, his own life was too boring to enjoy. Taylor knew that she was good, she had been told by both Fury and others, but she was far from good enough to defeat a god. The god of mischief.

Steve didn't really know how she would be fighting alongside him. The doubt could be read from his eyes easily, but she didn't blame him. During his time at her place, she didn't once talk about her suit, her little project. Thus, she wanted her ability to be a surprise, she was going to wait for the perfect moment to demonstrate so she could render him speechless.

The jet landed on top of a building silently, and Steve grabbed his shield instantly, turning to Taylor. He was wearing his suit, looking as fine as ever, and she forgot for a second that she was supposed to follow him out of the jet, she was too busy staring at him. It wasn't like he noticed though, he was busy staring at her too, as her own suit didn't really leave much to the imagination either. It was rather skin-tight.

"Shall we go?" Taylor questioned, walking past him. "Loki isn't going to catch himself."

They walked out of the jet, and Steve found the ladder on the side of the building that could help them get down easier. He turned to Taylor, motioning toward it, so she took the lead with an eye roll, climbing down with quick steps. When she looked up, however, she didn't see Steve anywhere, as if he vanished into thin air. Raising her eyebrows, she looked around her as well as she could, immediately regretting it when she saw how far the ground was from her. Then she heard it, a thud coming from her right. Steve was jumping onto a smaller building's roof, causing her to huff. Show off.

Once Taylor was at the bottom of the ladder where Steve was already waiting for her, she placed her hands on her hips disapprovingly. When she realized Steve wasn't paying any attention to her, she just simply put her mask on, hiding her face, thus calming all her nerves. She loved when she got to be invisible.

"So, what is it that you do exactly?" Steve asked quietly, beginning to walk out of the alleyway with light steps.

"Wanna see?" Taylor whispered, then grabbed his arm to turn him toward her. He furrowed his eyebrows, looking down at her hand, but he had no time to say anything as Taylor disappeared right in front of him.

"Where- Where did you go?" Steve looked around himself, completely surprised. Taylor chuckled lowly from beside him, causing his head to be whipped right toward the sound. She lightly touched his shoulder.

"I'm still here. You just can't see me."

There were screams coming from the road, so Taylor hurried to the edge of the alley to look out, Steve following right behind her. She saw a crowd of people trying to run away from something- from someone, then she quickly spotted him. Loki was walking calmly behind them, his clothes turning into armor and long golden horns, his eyes trained on the terrified people. He jerked his scepter in the direction of a nearby taxi and it flipped over, landing with a loud crash.

Not wanting to waste any time, Taylor ran across the road, ready to disappear in the crowd. She saw Steve do the same, but much more carefully, hiding behind trees and whatnot before ending up nearby the crowd. Taylor watched in surprise as projections of Loki appeared in the directions the people wanted to run in, preventing them from doing so. She avoided crashing into an old man, finding it hard to be undetected next to all the people she was accidentally touching. She didn't have time to ponder about this though, and neither did the people around her, as Loki began talking at the front.

"Kneel before me!" He said, but the crowd wasn't listening, only screaming, and still trying to flee. He wasn't having any of it, and Taylor was getting tired of being pushed around. "I said kneel!"
