Everyone sat in the jet in heavy silence on the way back to the Helicarrier, the loud thunderstorm being the only source of noise around them. Taylor was trying to keep calm as the jet shook due to it, shutting her eyes each time she felt her stomach drop. Making it look like she was fully okay, she leaned back in her seat, turning her attention to Loki this time. It looked like he wasn't enjoying the thunder either like he was wary of something. That didn't make Taylor any more comfortable.

Tony stood behind the cockpit, chatting with Natasha, while Steve calmly sat opposite Taylor, his attention on the pair, listening in to the conversation. Loki turned to Taylor then, his eyes traveling down to her wrist that she was cradling. She looked down too and let go of it, not wanting to show him a weak point that he could totally take advantage of.

Steve stood up and strolled over to Tony, keeping his voice low as he spoke to him. Loki watched them carefully, probably trying to hear what they were up to, what their plans were with him. Taylor pondered about standing up too, but she didn't want to cause any more problems to her stomach, so she stayed put instead.

"Did I hurt you?" Loki questioned in a mere whisper, making Taylor freeze. She cocked her head to the side.

"Why?"

"I didn't mean to be so brutal. My apologies," He breathed, sighing. "I'm not used to human fragility."

"Are people from where you came from that different?" Taylor inquired, her curiosity taking over.

"Not by outlook," He mumbled, turning his face away.

"And no need to worry," She added. "I've had worse, this is only a bruise."

Loud thunder interrupted their small convo, resulting in both of them looking up, and Loki looking more stressed than ever. Taylor gritted her teeth, calming herself by fiddling with her fingers in her lap.

"What's the matter?" Steve suddenly turned around, looking straight at Loki. Taylor's heartbeat picked up. "Scared of a little thunder?"

"I'm not overly fond of what follows," Loki answered calmly, his face a mask of no emotion.

Before anyone could speak up again, something hit the top of the jet with a loud thud, causing the whole thing to shake violently. Taylor sprung to her feet in an instant, and Tony took her by the arm, pulling her beside him protectively. He put on his mask and headed to the back of the jet, opening it without any words.

"Tony! What the fuck are you doing?" Taylor yelled instinctively, attempting to step after him, but Steve put his arm out to stop her.

A blonde man jumped on the opened ramp, wasting no time to strike at Tony with his hammer. The wind blew his hair and red cape as he stepped to Loki, grabbing him by the neck and lifting him from his seat. Taylor hurried over to her brother, crouching down to ask if he was okay. The second she looked up to see the pair of gods, they were already gone. Steve looked after them in astonishment.

"Now there's that guy," Tony grumbled as Taylor pulled him to his feet.

"Another Asgardian?" Natasha asked over the loud wind, turning to look at them. Taylor furrowed her eyebrows.

"You think the guy's a friendly?" Steve grabbed a hold of his shield. Taylor scoffed.

"Didn't look very friendly to me." She took her mask from her seat, ready to go after them.

"Doesn't matter," Tony sighed. "If he frees or kills him, the Tesseract is lost." He walked onto the ramp casually, looking down as he got ready to jump. "Taylor's staying."

"Stark!" Steve yelled, and Taylor thought for a second that he was going to say something on her behalf. "We need a plan of attack!"

"I have a plan." Tony turned to look at them. "Attack."
