Taylor stood in Central Park with her brother at her side. She was finally out of her suit and in some comfortable clothes consisting of a skin-tight V-necked black top and some jeans, and for once, she ditched the high heels as well. Maybe because it hurt to walk after the battle because all her muscles were sore and tense, and how she was still supposed to minimize moving too much due to a pair of fractured ribs that weren't very kind to her when she breathed.

Her brother was as classy as always, wearing a suit and some sunglasses, but he was clearly very worn out and exhausted. Taylor heard it from Maddy firsthand the second he fell through the door and slept for a day. Although they all did, she thought Tony deserved it the most.

Thor was standing in the middle with Loki, who was handcuffed along with a muzzle that was preventing him from speaking. He looked a bit shaken with cuts and bruises on his face, but Taylor couldn't read his expression, so there was no way for her to know whether he felt any guilt over what happened at all.

Taylor glanced over at Steve, who was in his old-fashioned clothes again, making her want to go on some sort of a shopping spree. And that thought led to the fact that they still didn't talk about what happened, so Taylor was ready to have a conversation with him about it soon.

Natasha and Clint were standing side by side, murmuring among themselves in a joking manner as they eyed Loki, making Taylor smile. Even Banner was there, watching with his hands in his pockets, casually standing among them. It was all over now, and everyone would go back to their daily life. Taylor felt a bit weird about the fact that she wouldn't get to see most of the people around her for a while, but then again, they weren't all exact friends.

Then, Thor raised the caged Tesseract in his hands, making Loki hold the handle on the other side, then with one last parting look at everyone, he twisted it, causing the pair of them to disappear. Taylor didn't move, but everyone else took a step back, and Tony was already going up to everyone, shaking their hands and saying goodbyes.

So, Taylor did the same. She walked up to Natasha and Clint first, pulling each of them into a hug.

"I'm gonna miss you," She mumbled as she hugged Natasha tightly.

"Doesn't mean we can't meet up just because we don't have the same job," Natasha smiled. "Also, I hope you are not letting Steve off just like that."

"Why? What's with Steve and Taylor?" Clint butted in, but he thankfully kept his voice low.

"Nothing!" Taylor laughed, but Natasha wasn't having it.

"They have an obvious crush on each other."

Their conversation was interrupted by Steve himself, who walked up to Clint first, shaking his hand. Taylor sent a dirty look to Natasha, then headed over to her brother who was beside his car, texting away.

"Heading home to Malibu?" She questioned, smiling at him. He nodded.

"You could come too."

"No, I have some unfinished business still," Taylor shook her head lightly.

"Ah, don't tell me you are talking about gramps over there," Tony rolled his eyes, sliding his phone into his pocket.

"Maybe."

"You are unsavable," He mumbled. "And lucky that your penthouse wasn't completely demolished by our dear aliens. Only a few scratches."

"Yeah. I don't know what I would have done if it collapsed or something."

"I know," Tony grinned. "You would have either moved back with me or the worse option would have been with captain sparkle."

Taylor rolled her eyes, then Steve approached them, going to shake Tony's hand. She took a step back to let them exchange a few words, which weren't very meaningful, but at least they weren't at each other's throats like usual.
