"Are you girls ready?"

     Gem was getting the kitchen ready for the night, they were going to be baking then handing things out to the hermits.

"Yep! We got everything for cookies, bread, pies, cakes.. Am I missing something?"

     Stress muttered the last part under her breath, trying to remember if she forgot anything.

"And cupcakes Stress"

      Cleo gently patted the shorters head, Stress giggling in return.

Gem clapped her hands three times to get all the girls attention, which yes they all looked at her. 

"Crumpets as well, you know Grian loves crumpets, and donuts for Cub, Now c'mon, lets get working!"

     They all scuttled around the kitchen, about to start some tea.

"So I heard about all the commotion about Ren becoming the king and Grian going loco about it, Scars a bit over his own head as well, doing everything Ren says"

     Cleo chuckled as she kneaded the dough with her knuckles, a low anger hiding just beneath the surface of her usual calmness.

"So has Impulse, I've never seen him get so bad like that before, but it's just fun and games, has anyone checked up on Doc? I know how close he and Ren are, well, were."

Pearl didn't take her eyes off of the batter she was stirring together quickly so it wouldn't stick to the sides of the bowl. Gem glanced over at them from the fruits she was cutting carefully, trying to avoid her fingers from the fast movements of the knife heading up and down.

"Doc isn't in the best state, you know what happened that one season when everyone kept picking sides.? Also remember when he built that huge thing? He has himself holed up on the project, he worked non-stop until Ren went over to actually get him to drink water and sleep, Ren even got him to eat something! Ren was one of the only people who would actually visit him but now he can't go out of the castle without someone wanting his head cut off, and you know how bad that feels while respawning, a bed just makes it less uncomfortable, I know everyone isn't in the best state, but I have an idea. Maybe instead of going house to house we should set a little spot up in the middle, things have been kinda hard after.. Y'know.. Maybe it'll lighten the mood for everybody"

Gem sighed and went back to cutting up fruit for the idea she previously had, hadn't told anyone at the kitchen counter. (Yay smoothies :D)

"That does sound like a good idea! Maybe we could even bring different types of flowers and plants, I'd say roses for Doc and Grian, lilies for.. Well we can plan that out later of course! I know Scar loves Lilacs! Kinda suits him as well, they look nice and are really sweet!"

Stress piped up to add to the conversation.

"And for some odd reason Wels loves ferns, no clue why. They don't even have a smell and they're just green"
