The kitchen was undoubtedly beautiful and luxurious as well. It had custom-made fixtures so that the kitchen matches the remaining rooms of high-end residences. Every corner of this house screamed luxury except the basement, of course.

Asher and Theo were in the kitchen, sitting on the stool, talking with two other guys whom i have yet to meet. I haven’t forgotten about my family as his prisoners. I was contemplating on telling him about my life so that he could release them himself or i would do so myself behind his back but both are risky as hell.

“Hey Katherine.” Theo acknowledged me with a smile on his face. “Hey.”

Upon hearing my voice, Asher turned around along with the two strangers, looking directly at me. “Well well well, who do we have here?” One of the stranger spoke, his eyes roaming around my body up and down.

“That’s Katherine.” Asher stated, glaring at the stranger, “My guest for the next few days and someone you will stay away from.”

The stranger put his hands up with a smirk playing on his lips, “My bad, boss.”

“Ahem.” Bash cleared his throat before walking around the counter to the fridge, “Katherine is hungry. Give the girl something to eat.”

A frown took over Asher’s features for a second before he brushed it off. He turned to face the stranger who has been quiet this entire time. “I thought i told you to tell Matilda to give her food?”

“I told her.” The man shrugged, “She obviously didn’t listen. She’s becoming more and more of a brat these days.”

Theo groaned at that, his gaze now on Asher, “Just because you fucked her once, bitch thinks you are dating her.”

There is food.” Bash approached me with a plate of spaghetti in his hands. He gestured to the empty stool beside Asher. “Eat everything.” I sat next to Asher and started eating while trying to ignore his gaze on me.

“A drunk mistake.” Asher stated, referring to his time with a certain Matilda, massaging his forehead.

“Drunk or not, you gave her that D.” Bash shrugged, “Now she wants more and labelled herself as your girlfriend.”

“Matilda is here.” A high pitch voice spoke, making me hiss as i felt a headache coming. “Jesus.” i muttered under my breath.

“Holy jesus fucking christ. May he gives us courage, patience and everything needed to deal with this girl.” Bash started praying, taking the seat next to me.

Asher, Theo and the two other guys all turned facing me, ignoring Matilda. I wanted to turn around to see who it was but Bash told me not to. He said and i quote, “You don’t wanna see what she is wearing. I cannot let her influence your style of dressing. I like you as you are.”

“Um, hello?” Matilda girl spoke again, “Why are you boys ignoring me?” i could almost see the frown on her lips.

“Matilda.” Asher broke the silence, turned to face her, “You’re fired.”

Bash snickered at this while the others smiled, and finally turned around to face them as well and i did too. That Matilda girl was blonde, wore really tight clothes. I wondered if she could breathe at this point. They said she is a maid and well, she certainly does not look like one.

“Im fired?” She repeated, a frown slowly appearing on her face before it was replaced with a smile, “You don’t want me to work, is that it?”

“Oh my god.” Bash sighed at that and stood up to get a glass of water for me and himself. I smiled at him, taking the glass from his hand before drinking the whole thing while watching the scene unfolding.

“No, Matilda.” Asher stated, “You are fired. I don’t want you around.”

“What do you mean?” She spoke, feigning confusion, “We’re dating.”

“No, we are not.” Asher clenched his jaw, “You think we are dating, you created some sort of fantasy in your mind and included me in it. We are Not dating. We just had sex, once.”

She looked down before speaking again, “Can i still work here?” her gaze switched on me, “Is she working here now?”

“Me?” I questioned, “Oh no. Im not working here, im just a guest here.” i stated, in the nicest tone possible. There was no need to be rude to her, she hasn’t given me any reason to be.

“Oh, alright.” She fake smiled at me before looking at the stranger, “Is that the girl i was suppose to give food to?”

He nodded, “Yeah.”

“Im sorry.” She apologised to Asher, “I wasn’t thinking straight. I would like a few days off, if that’s okay with you.”

“Girl,” Bash spoke, “He just fired you. You can have all the days off.”

“I’ll get you a job elsewhere but You cannot work here any longer.” Asher stated, looking at her outfit with a judgmental look on his face. “You walked around wearing this?”

“Yes.” Matilda replied, “What’s wrong with it?”

The stranger who has been quiet spoke, “Like Everything but hey, i ain’t judging.”

Really.

“Matilda, wear something decent before leaving. I can’t have you distract my men looking like this.” With that, Matilda left the kitchen leaving us alone again.
