There he stood, Jason, with his sword in hand, waiting to attack Asher. They told us we would be fighting one at a time. One combat at a time and that none of us will have the right to intervene. Fuck that. I will intervene if i have to.

"You nod your head, lift your sword as a start." My father prompted, "Like this." He showed Asher how to do it. "You'll win. I know it." Despite his child convincing words, he didn't look the part. "Im sure you will." Again, he was just convincing himself.

Shaking my head at him, i took Asher's face in my hands as he rested his forehead on mine. "Fuck him up."

A smirk took over his lips at my words before he placed a kiss on my lips. "For you, i will."

"Sweet." My father groaned at our actions, "Now get out there and-" he looked at me before turning his gaze back on Asher, smiling, "Fuck him up."

"You know the rules." Cherry interrupted, her voice loud. "No one intervene no matter who is dying. If you do," she pointed to the sniper on the roof, "You will be killed on sight."

Theo glared at the sniper on the roof, nudging Bash who just nodded in response. I don't know what they were planning but it better not get them killed. I averted my gaze from them to Jason who still had a smirk plastered on his face. It was stupid how he thought he was going to win. Jason had too much of self confidence for his own good. He trusted himself to a point where he believed he was better than everyone else when it came to sword fighting despite being proven wrong countless of times by yours truly. It was how i won sometimes against him during training. He trusted himself way too much. He fought, relying on his skills, not his heart and mind and that was the biggest mistake a person can make when it comes to fighting.

I stood next to my parents and Asher's, watching the scene unfold in front of my eyes, knowing damn well i would intervene if i have to.

The sword combat between Asher and Jason was intense, to say the least. Asher had only recently taken up sword fighting, two days of training, but he was prepared for this moment. Jason, on the other hand, was a seasoned warrior with years of experience. His movements were fluid and effortless, and he moved with a grace that seemed almost supernatural.

As the they stepped onto the field, their swords flashing in the sun, there was a palpable tension in the air. They circled each other warily, their eyes locked in a fierce stare as they sized each other up.

The first few minutes of the combat were a blur of clashing steel and flying sparks as the two fighters tested each other's defenses. Asher was quick and agile, his movements fluid and precise, but he was no match for Jason's superior skill.

Despite his inexperience, Asher refused to back down. He pressed on relentlessly, his eyes fixed firmly on his opponent. For every blow that Jason landed, Asher countered with two of his own. The two combatants moved around each other in a deadly dance, their swords flashing in the sunlight.

The combat seemed to go on forever, both locked in a fierce struggle that showed no signs of ending. Jason was clearly the superior swordsman, but Asher was driven by an inner fire that refused to let him give up.

And then, all at once, it was over. In one swift movement, Asher delivered a final blow that sent Jason's sword flying out of his hand. The crowd gasped in disbelief as Asher stood, heaving with exhaustion and triumph.

"Fuck yes!", My dad exclaimed proudly, jumping from his seat and almost going in the field but my mother stopped him, reminding him of the sniper on the roof.

"I knew he would win." Bash shrugged it off like it was nothing but we both knew it was a lie. It was everything. He proved Jason wrong and defeated him despite being new at this. I was so fucking proud of him right now, if it wasn't for that sniper on the roof, I'd have run there next to him.

"Impossible." Cherry scoffed, "I thought Jason was the best amongst the assassins." She rolled her eyes, "Incompetent man."

"Tell your sniper to stand down. I have to see Asher." I told Cherry who glared at me, "Now."

She didn't have a choice but to comply right now considering she lost the first part of the combat. She gave a curt nod to the sniper who allowed me to go see Asher on the field. The moment he saw me coming, a smile appeared on his face. I immediately threw myself around him and he hugged me back tightly. "I did it." He breathed, "I fucking did it for you."

Breaking the hug, i gave him a full blown smile. "You did it." I turned my attention to Jason who was still on the ground, next to his sword, not believing what just happened. "Jason." My voice made him look at me. "How does it feel to lose?"

Asher smirked beside me, wrapping his arms around my waist. "That was fun. The fighting with swords, i mean."

"Fuck you." Jason spat, getting up to his feet. "I want a rematch."

"Im afraid a rematch wasn't one of the rules of your stupid game." Asher rolled his eyes, "Accept your defeat and surrender."

"It's the girl's turn to fight now." Cherry interrupted us with Garrett at her side. "You can dispute about losing later, Jason. One of us still has something to win." She looked at Asher, "The rules are still as before. No intervention."

Asher reluctantly left my side, leaving me with Garrett who looked furious, ready to kill me if i let him. Cherry smirked before joining the rest to watch us fight. Asher won me my kingdom back and i was going to ensure he never loses his whatever it takes.
