Once changed into sweatpants and a shirt, i went downstairs in the kitchen where, Like he said, Asher and my brother were eating ice-cream. I didn't peg him for a children's person but looks like i was wrong. He was getting just fine with Ron.

"Look who finally decided to bless us with her presence." Asher said when i entered the kitchen. "I have to attend a meeting in some minutes."

"O....kay." I trailed off, unsure why he is telling me this. Sensing my confusion, he said, "We will start on finding your parents, see if there are any leads. You are coming with me. Your presence is needed."

"Will there be many people?", i questioned, taking a spoon. He smirked, "Yes. All of my men."

"Only men?"

"Those who will help find your parents are men, yes." He answered, "I do not work with men only, Katherine. I have females as well- assassins, seductress, hackers."

"Good to know."

"Hmm." He hummed, taking another spoonful of his ice cream. "Vanilla's your favorite?" He eyed my choice considering There was a bunch of ice cream to choose from. Chocolate, strawberry and so on. "I prefer vanilla to Chocolate and Strawberry, yes. I chose only Vanilla because i didn't want to appear rude by taking some out of all the flavors- something i'd do if I wasn't raised appropriately." I continued, "Blueberry cheesecake ice cream is my favorite."

He let out a chuckle before shaking his head. "I wouldn't have mind." He smirked, "Blueberry cheesecake, hmm? Exquisite choice."

"Do you still have the letter the kidnapper left?" He asked, giving Aaron to Kiera. I nodded, "It's in the pocket of my pants somewhere."

"Bring it with you. We are leaving in 15 minutes." He stated before his eyes roamed around my body and as if i asked how i looked, he said, "Yeah you look decent enough."

I rolled my eyes at him, "I don't recall asking."

He shrugged and eyed my icecream. "You done?"

I nodded, "let me get my phone and we can leave."

The car ride was silent. We didn't speak much just me asking if Aaron would be safe along at his place. He guaranteed his safety, the way he spoke about his men protecting him would give anyone the idea of trust he has in them. Yet another thing my father lacked- Trust. He never trusted anyone but himself and his wife. It amaze me how similar they are yet different in every ways.

After what felt like fifteen minutes, the car stopped in front of a huge mansion. Smaller than his. We stepped out of the car and I followed him inside. Two guards were placed in front of the door. Upon seeing us approaching, they looked down as a sign of respect before opening the door for him.

"This is my main house." Asher stated, "It's where the people who works for me come to spend their time and Those who have nowhere to go stays here itself."

"This is yours?" I asked, admiring the house. It was beautiful, luxurious as well. He nodded, "I have two main houses for safety purposes."

"Okay." I nodded before following him up the stairs. We stopped in front of a black door when he turned to look at me. "Don't hold conversation with people you don't know." Receiving another nod from me, he opened the door and we were greeted with a bunch of men, sitting around a long table, engaged in conversations of their own but that stopped when Asher walked inside. I walked behind him, feeling nervous all of a sudden. The urge of hiding behind him from their prying eyes was strong but this was no moment to hide. These men would help me find my parents, i had to be confident even if i was not.

"Gentlemen." Asher spoke once he sat at the head of the table, not before asking me to take a seat beside him, next to Bash who smiled at me. "I believe we have work to do. Bash here, already walked you through what is going on, yes?"

The men nodded at his question, "Good." He looked at me, "This is Katherine."

"No offence but what is she doing here?" A guy sitting next to Bash asked., his gaze fixed on me.

"She will help find her parents." Asher stated, staring him down. "You got a problem with that, Montgomery?"

He quickly shook his head, "No, boss."

"That's what I thought." He said before looking at everyone else. "We'll start with everything we have analyzed from their hotel room."

"I checked the cameras, four men were seen leaving their room. Your parents were going willingly." A guy with black hair and glasses said, "At least, it looked like they left with them willingly. Asher told us your brother was left behind, im assuming they threatened him."

"Yes, thank you for your precious information, Ki." Bash referred to the last part of his words and bowed dramatically, "Thank you for telling us what we already knew."

"Fuck off, asshole." The Ki guy muttered under his breath. "At least im helping. What are you doing?"

"Providing support to Kat, obviously." Bash shrugged, grinning at me before looking at Ki. "Or would i rather i provide you with support? On bed? Hmm?" Poor guy turned red at this point.

"Bash. Focus." Asher warned, directing his attention on Ki. "Im assuming you saw their car's plate?"

He nodded, "I ran the plate number. I should get the owner's name in...." he glanced at his screen, "Ten seconds."

"This fast?" I questioned, feeling a little out of place. Ki grinned at me before answering, "Well, when you excel at what you do like me...." Theo cut him off, "Yes, Ki. Just say yes."

"Killian, otherwise known as Ki, is my hacker." Asher said, looking at me. "Theo and Bash are snipers and assassins as the rest of them."

"Got it." Ki jumped out of his chair. "It's currently near some warehouse about twenty minutes drive from here."

"Get me a blueprint of the warehouse."

After like two minutes of typing on his keyboard, he turned the laptop to face us. "Done."

"Jared, Newt" Asher looked at two guys at the back, "Get the cars and guns ready. We leave in fifteen."

"You'll be coming with?" Bash asked me. "Yes." I answered as he looked me up and down, "Honey, you're not dressed for the occasion."

"He is right." Asher sighed before taking out his phone from his pants, sent a text to someone. "None of us are."

"I have suitable clothes here in my room." Of course he has a room here. "The girls will find you something to wear."

As if on cue, a girl with short blonde hair entered the room. "Serena. Dress her up, we are going on a rescue mission." Asher ordered earning a 'Yes boss' from Serena before she rushed me out of the room taking me to god knows where.
