(Flashback)

"Listen, I'm just being honest. I thought it was a bit... Pedestrian." Michonne said, shrugging.

"Pedestrian?" Terry asked laughing.

"As in lame." Michonne told him. "And played."

"Played?" Terry asked. "Where have you seen anything like it before? Tell me that."

"I've never seen a gorilla drive a car before, but if you put it in a museum, I'm not gonna call it art." Michonne explained shaking her head.

Terry looked over at Mike. "Mike, would you please talk some sense into your lover?"

Mike chuckled and Michonne looked away from what she's doing. "Oh, my god. You did not just call me that."

"I agree with my lover." Mike said, nodding. "I mean the whole thing was—"

"Very lame." Michonne interrupted.

"And very played." Mike added.

Terry looked between the two. "Oh, wait, wait, wait. No, no, don't do that. Don't do that. Don't start finishing each others sentences, man. It's just gross." He shook his head. "Kaitlyn, get in here. I need your help!" He yelled.

"Don't." Michonne sternly told him smiling. "Her dad will be picking her up soon. She's packing."

Terry groaned and Mike started to talk. "I was going to say that the whole thing was like a monument to someone trying too damned hard to be different."

"Listen, I'm glad I saw it." Michonne said cleaning her katana. "Even though I did not love it."

Running footsteps were heard coming from the hall. Soon Andre ran over to Michonne giggling as Kaitlyn ran after him with her going home bag on her back.

"Is aunt Katie trying to get you, peanut?" Michonne asked picking Andre up and putting him on her hip.

She grabbed the snack tray and handed it to Kaitlyn. The two walked over the kitchen table and Kate sat the tray down.

She glanced up at Mike and Terry and she immediately noticed that they look different. They were both upset and a little bloody.

"I don't think that we should stay at the camp." Terry told Mike.

Mike looked over at him nervously. "No. I'm not taking my son out there. I don't know if this place will work out, but I know it won't if we go out there. Does it even matter anymore? Are we just kidding ourselves?"

"Okay." Michonne said with a big smile. "Alright, I see what this is."

"Really? What is this, Michonne?" Terry asked, tilting his head. "I mean, you've gotten good with a sword and Kaitlyn is a helluva shot. You know how valuable those two skills are now? You know what that makes you?"

"For what?" Mike asked "what are we going for? Where's the happy ending here? This isn't life. This isn't anything close, okay? Not for me, not for us. And for our son. What's the answer here?"

"Well, what is the damn question, Mike?" Terry snapped.

"Why?" Mike asked.

Kaitlyn glanced up at Michonne and the woman nodded. "Okay. That's good. Now I have a question. Who's gonna open the wine?"
