"𝐖𝐄'𝐋𝐋 𝐁𝐄 𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊 𝐀𝐒 𝐒𝐎𝐎𝐍 𝐀𝐒 𝐖𝐄 𝐂𝐀𝐍." Daryl told Devin as he hand Noah got inside a truck. "Don't do anything stupid." He warned, pointing his finger at her.

Devin smirked leaning her arm through the window. "Stupid? Me? Never." She shrugged, swatting at his finger.

Daryl rolled his eyes. "I mean it, Devin. Just stay inside, please."

Devin sighed, patting the truck door. "Don't worry. Y'all be careful."

"You too." Noah waved as Daryl drove off.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐍𝐄𝐗𝐓 𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆, Devin was fast asleep on a pile of blankets. She was in an old building the same one that she told Daryl she'd meet him at.

"Dev, where are you?" Daryl called out as he, Noah, Rick, Tyreese, Javi, Sasha, Dane, Kai, Sam and Leo entered the building.

After not getting an answer, Dane looked over at the man. "My daughter better be okay, Daryl." He told him.

"She's fine." Daryl grumbled. At least that's what he hoped. "Devin?!" He loudly said.

"What?" The group heard a tired voice ask. They all looked over to see Devin standing up from her makeshift bed.

The girl smiled seeing the others. "Oh, hey, Guys. Hey, Dad." She waved.

Sam ran over to her and pulled her into a hug. "Next time don't sneak off." He mumbled into her hair.

"I'll try not to." Devin joked after the hug was over.

Dane was about to walk over to her but Leo and Kai beat him to it. "Leo was so worried about you." Kai told her.

Leo glared at him. "We both were worried about you. You can't just sneak off like that." He lightly scolded the girl for running off in the middle of the night.

Devin smiled at the two. "Sorry, boys. It maybe won't happen again." She joked. "No promises."

"So not funny." Kai playfully rolled his eyes. He then noticed the wound on Devin's forehead. "Dev." He grumbled, moving some of her hair out of the way.

"I'm fine. . . Just fell." She told him. It wasn't a total lie since technically she did fall. . . like from a great height while inside a tin can of a van.

𝐖𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐄 𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐊 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐄 others worked on doing their plan, Devin and Javi did their part by hanging out in some old grocery store, gathering things that might still be edible. Devin had Daryl's walkie on her so that Rick could let her and Javi know when to meet them at the hospital.

"So, Roja. . . I have a question." Javi said after putting a can of peaches into his backpack.

Devin glanced over at him and raised an eyebrow. "What?" She hesitantly asked.

"That bandage on your arm—"

"Javi." Devin mumbled, shaking her head.

"What? It's an honest question." The man defended.

Devin sighed, licking her lips. "I. . . I fell. I'm fine, really." She lied through her teeth and Javi knew.

The man only sighed. "Okay, Mija. You don't want to talk about it. That's okay. But if you ever do, I'm always here." He told her.
