"𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐄𝐄 𝐁𝐔𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐓𝐒. 𝐖𝐄'𝐑𝐄 𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐌𝐈𝐃𝐃𝐋𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐀 𝐂𝐈𝐓𝐘. 𝐇𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐖𝐄𝐀𝐏𝐎𝐍𝐒, 𝐃𝐈𝐃 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐊 𝐈 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐆𝐎𝐍𝐍𝐀 𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐇𝐈𝐌?" Carol asked, as she, Daryl and Devin walked down a hallway. "I was aiming for his leg. Could that have killed him? Maybe, I don't know. But if Kai could survive when he got shot in the arm... I'm sure he could survive a gunshot to the leg. But either way he was stealing our weapons." The woman continued to ramble as the three got to a locked door.

Daryl crouched down and started to work on getting the door unlocked. "He's a damn kid. Probably Dev's age." He grumbled.

"Without weapons we could die. Beth could die." Carol pointed out.

"I've got my bat and gun." Devin sighed. "We're not totally defenseless."

Daryl sighed. "We'll find more "

"I don't want Dev to die. I don't want you to die. I don't want Beth to die. I don't want anybody at the church to die, but I can't stand around and watch it happen either. I can't. That's why I left. I just had to be somewhere else."

Daryl suddenly looked back at Carol, annoyed. "Well, you ain't somewhere else, you're right here. Tryin'." He said before going back to work on the door.

"You're not who you are and neither am I." Carol said as Daryl opened the door. Daryl huffed and the woman continued. "I don't know if I believe in God anymore or heaven, but if I'm going to hell. I'm making damn sure I'm holding it off as long as I can."

"I should do it. I'm the lightest." The redhead told him.

Daryl looked at her and shook his head. "Nah." He mumbled before climbing into the van, Carol followed close behind him.

Devin decided to stay on the outside. She didn't exactly have a death wish. . . Yet.

he kept an eye on the walkers that slowly started making their way towards what the hoped to be their next meal. Devin on the other hand hoped she wouldn't be their next meal. "Can we maybe hurry this up?" Devin asked over her shoulder. "We got some “friends” heading out way."

"GMH, what's that? A hospital?" Daryl asked, looking through some stuff.

Devin nodded to herself. "Yep. Grady memorial." She responded. "My Aunt Jean had hip surgery there five years ago."

"Grady, the white crosses— it might be where they're holding up." Daryl spoke as he and Carol climbed out of the van.

By then the walkers had already gotten way to close for comfort. Devin pulled out her gun and shot one of the closet ones, hopeing to make a path for the three to escape. Seeing as it did no good the Redhead glanced over at Carol. "Looks like you're going to hell early."
