"𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐖𝐄 𝐂𝐋𝐎𝐒𝐄?" Beth asked holding up Daryl's crossbow."Almost done." Daryl told her.
"How do you know?" The blonde asked.
"The signs are all there. Just got to know how to read 'em." Daryl said, as the three started to walk.
"What are we tracking?" Beth wondered.
"You tell me. You two are the ones that wanted to learn."
Devin squat down and carefully looked at the tracks. "The pattern is all zigzag." Beth pointed out.
Devin looked up at her and they both smiled. "Walker."
"Maybe it's a drunk." Daryl said, scratching his chin.
"We're getting good at this." Beth said as Devin stood back up. "Pretty soon we won't need you at all."
"Yeah, keep on tracking." Daryl said and Beth led the way to a clearing where a walker was on the ground eating something.
"It's got a gun." Beth pointed out. She looked back and Daryl nodded.
Beth lifted up the crossbow and started to walk towards the walker. Daryl and Devin stood back, watching her.
Suddenly Beth stepped down on a hidden bear trap and it closed around her ankle. She collapsed to the ground alerting the walker.
Daryl and Devin quickly ran over to her. Daryl took the crossbow and went to kill the walker while Devin started trying to figure out how to open the trap.
Luckily the trap didn't do any bad damage. "Can you move it?" Daryl asked coming back over to the two girls.
Beth rolled her foots around and nodded. "Yeah."
Soon the three reached the edge of the woods by a funeral home and grave yard. "Can we—can we hold up a sec?" Beth asked bending over and rubbing her ankle.
"You okay?" Devin asked titling, her head concerned.
"I just need to sit down." Beth told her.
"Alright. Hold up." Daryl said, handing Devin his crossbow. He then leaned over in front of Beth. "Hop on."
"Are you serious?" Beth asked, chuckling a little.
"Yeah. This is a serious piggyback. Jump up." Daryl told her and finally she hopped on. "You're heavier than you look."
Devon laughed a little "if I knew all I had to do to get a piggyback ride from Daryl was hurt by ankle I would've done it ages ago."
Daryl scoffed, rolling his eyes and they started to walk.
"Maybe there are people there." Beth said looking towards the home.
"Yeah, if there are, Dev and I'll handle them." Daryl let her know.
"There are still good people, Daryl."
"I don't think the good ones survive." Daryl responded.
The three came to a stop by a headstone that just said father. Beth climbed down and looked down at it. Daryl walked backward and pulled up some flowers. He the walked to the headstone and placed the flowers ontop.
"Okay, Dev's turn for a piggyback." Beth said smiling.
Devin smiled happily. "Hell yeah." She exclaimed excitedly.
Daryl sighed, nodding. "Alright." He muttered turning his back to face Devin.
The redhead hopped onto his back and wrapped her arms around his neck. "Onward!" She pointed forward.
