the barn, while most of the others had already gone to sleep. The storm outside was only one of the many things that was keeping the Philips girl awake. The wind started to pick up and crash into the barn doors causing them to rattle. Devin didn't think too much about the doors until Daryl ran over and threw his body against them.

Over the roaring winds, Devin could hear the moans of the dead. "Shit." She muttered, quickly getting up from the ground. She hopped over Willow's sleeping figure and ran over to help Daryl with the door.

Soon one by one the others ran over to help, as the walkers pushed up against the door.

next morning, proof that the group had lived through another night. Duane sat against the back wall beside Devin. He wanted to keep her company but he could hardly keep his eyes open. His eyelids slowly shut but he opened them just as fast, a sigh leaving his nose.

He needed to talk, it was way too quiet. "Hey, Dev?" He hesitantly spoke, not sure if Devin would even be up to talking with him.

"Hmm?" Devin hummed. She didn't even bother looking over at him.

Duane licked his lips, he was silent for a moment as he tried to come up with something to say. He didn't actually plan on getting that far into a conversation with her. "Uh. . . My dad. Do you think he's still out there?" He asked.

Devin's shoulders slouched as the last conversation she had with Morgan ran through her head. "people like us, we live..." The girl sighed and shook her head slightly. "I think so." She muttered.

"Hey, everyone?" Maggie's voice filled the barn as she entered, behind her was Sasha and a strange man. "This is Aaron."

The group didn't hesitate to draw their weapons on the stranger. "We met him outside. He's by himself. We took his weapons and we took his gear." Maggie added as Daryl walked up to the man.

He patted him down before nodding his head after he was sure Aaron was clean.

"Hi. It's nice to meet you." Aaron smiled as he went to step closer to Rick. Everyone put their weapons up higher. Aaron stopped in his tracks.

Rick turned and handed Judith to Kate. He then stepped away from the two. "You said he had a weapon on him." He said looking at Maggie.

The woman nodded and handed him a small handgun. Rick turned to Aaron. "There something?" He asked him.

"He said he has a camp nearby. He wants us to audition for membership." Sasha said, obviously annoyed.

Dane cocked an eyebrow. "Audition?" He asked and Aaron looked at him.

He chuckled and shook his head. "Audition makes it sound like we're some kind of dance troupe." He paused. "That's only on Friday nights."

"My God." Eloise mumbled shaking her head.

"Um. It's not a camp. It's a community. I think you all would be valuable additions. But it's not my call. My job is to convince you all to follow me back home." Aaron explained. "I know. If I were you, I wouldn't go either. Not until I knew exactly what I was getting into."
