The next three goals of the match belonged to your team.

You watched as Aryu blocked a pass between Bachira and Nagi using his tall stature to reach the ball mid-air. He seriously had to have jumped at least a meter off the ground! Even Nagi, who was 6ft tall, paled in comparison to Aryu's height.

The tall male dramatically landed back on the ground, as his hair flowed through the air. "I have descended. Your ball handling may be stylish. But if I don't let you touch it, you can't shine."

Suddenly he passed the ball back to you, as he started sprinting towards the other team's defensive end. "Have it, [Lastname]. Then send it to me in front of the goal."

Ah, so he wanted you to assist in his goal. Seemed easy enough. "gotcha."

You waited until Aryu had gotten to around the halfway point of the field before passing it to him. Right as you tried to send him a pass, Bachira cut in front  of you out of nowhere and intercepted your pass. The ball flew over the field, over everyone's heads, and ended up in the grasp of Isagi.

You let out a grunt in annoyance, to which Bachira silently took pride in. It was living proof that he had won against you at that moment. You figured your team's offensive attack was over once Isagi had possession of the ball, but what you didn't expect was for Aryu to shoot the ball while Isagi was protecting it.

In awe, you watched as the taller male used his long limbs to reach the ball around isagi's figure, and score the third goal for your team.

"It's settled. On this field, I am the most stylish." Aryu said as he basked in his goal. Despite his weird tendencies, you would admit the goal was quite impressive. It seemed your team was filled with skilled players. You didn't know if you should be grateful to be on their team, or upset that you wouldn't be able to play against them.

On the other side of the field, Isagi had slowly begun to lose hope. He was a fool. After the first goal, he had deluded himself into thinking they could win this game when it was obvious the three of you hadn't been taking this seriously at all. Even you, had developed beyond his greatest imagination.

"Amazing... That there are people out there with that kind of skill."

Isagi looked up to see Nagi, grabbing the ball from the back of the net. Unlike him, Nagi seemed completely unbothered at the talent of the other team. "Soccer seriously is interesting."

"Nagi..."

"It's thanks to you and [Lastname] that I can look at soccer this way." Isagi watched as the once lazy boy clenched the ball in his hands, a dark aura overcoming him. "Don't give up yet Isagi, I wanna put Mr. Number 1 in his place before the end of this match for stealing [Lastname]'s attention. I'll make this more interesting."

He was right. Isagi had been completely looking at this the wrong way. He allowed himself to become dejected due to yours and Rin's talent. It was a pathetic mentality to have, really.

Back in the first selection he had seen how amazing you were, though he didn't let it deter him back then. Watching you play, gave him a high he never thought he could achieve by just watching someone so talented play. In fact, you inspired him and became an object of awe for the boy.You shined to him like a shooting star, in the pitch black dead of night. A sign that gave him hope.

Rising against those who were better than him was the core of his football, if he let himself get scared now then he might as well just quit the sport altogether.

Besides, if even Nagi still had the determination to play, then he had no excuses!

"Let's do this!"

Back on your side of the field, you watched as the three boys huddled together. "Looks like they're planning something. Should we also make a strategy?" You questioned. Despite giving the suggestion, you knew that Rin would be too haught to care.
