13. Natural

A/n: Guys, if this sucks its because I wrote some of it whileI was high and im way too lazy to check and make sure that it's okay lol. Also none of the world five except Julian will be love interests, even though Leonard Luna is honestly hot as fuck. Also ngl listening to Imagine Dragons while writing the games hits diff.

You stared into the eyes of the male in front of you. His bright turquoise seemed to harden at the name, it was enough evidence to tell you that he did actually in fact know Rin Itoshi just as you suspected.

"Who's asking?" The male said, as he fully turned his body towards you rather than just lazily looking over his shoulder like he did before. The intensity of the male's stare was enough to enhance your nerves to the point where you found your words caught in your throat.

"Well?" He impatiently urged you to speak, still keeping the stoic expression on his face. "I don't have all day."

Ah-Right." You said shakenly. Even though he held the same eyes as Rin, they were much darker than his. Not in a literal sense, but it seemed like he had seen much more of the darker aspects of the world than the other boy had. Even though Rin was rude and distasteful to people, he still had a glimmer of hope in him. In this other man, it was practically non-existent.

"You can just call me [Lastname]. I was just asking because you reminded me of a teammate of mine, Rin Itoshi."

The male across from you went silent at your words. With each passing second you felt yourself growing more and more nervous at the lack of response. A part of you wanted to mock him the way he did with you, with a snarky 'Well? I don't have all day' back, but god knows how that would end. Besides, you started the conversation first.

"You know what? Pretend I didn't say anything" You sighed, putting your hands up in surrender. "I'm sorry for wasting your-"

"No... I do know him." The man cut you off. "Rin Itoshi, he's my younger brother."

Well fuck, that was a surprise and a half. I mean, you didn't know what you were expecting but it wasn't that.

Now that you looked at him, he did somewhat resemble the stoic boy you knew aside from the long bottom eyelashes and bright turquoise eyes. For one, they both had a massive resting bitch face. But aside from those select features, there was nothing to indicate that they were brothers.

Honestly though, you really shouldn't be talking. You and your brother looked absolutely nothing like each other as well, the difference was like night and day. Your brother had taken after your father, and you (seemingly) took after your mother. Well, you wouldn't exactly know for sure given how you've never met her. For all you know, you could have been adopted or something.

But you found it unlikely your father would willingly adopt you, so you always assumed the former.

"Oh so are you here to visit Rin or something?" You said, continuing on with the conversation. You wondered if they even allowed visitors at Blue Lock. If they did, then you sure as hell would be pissed no one came to visit you!

The boy in front of you let out a soft scoff, almost offended by even the mention of the action. "Of course not. I have better things to do than visit my clingy younger brother."

You furrowed your eyebrows at his words. Clingy? Rin? You would have never expected to hear those two words in the same sentence. You questioned if you were even talking about the same person at that moment. The Rin you had grown to know was anything but clingy. In fact, he was as cold as could be.

Just the idea of Rin being clingy was such an odd concept, it was almost laughable. The once stoic male suddenly having puppy dog eyes and clinging onto someone was a funny yet slightly terrifying vision. You found yourself slightly giggling at that image, confusing the man across from you.
