A/n: guys this update is super dramatic
You stepped into the conference room behind your newly found acquaintance. It was a large, boring, white conference room that looked more like an insane asylum than anything else. Lined up row by row were tabled for the players to sit at, with most of them already taken up by boys around your age.
"Yo, Aiku!" One of the boys called out, supposedly to the guy you had just met. The boy called out had bright salmon colored hair, with one side longer than the other. He sat near the front, the seat next to him saved supposedly for this guy who you had just met. "Who's that? She your new girl? Must be serious this time if you took her to one of our meetings."
As soon as the salmon haired boy said that, almost everyone turned to look at you two. While you were uncomfortable with the attention, the boy beside you seemed to revel in it. The two of you walked over to his pink haired friend, expect it was more like Aiku walking and you trailing behind him like a lost puppy. The boy stopped at his friend's desk and slumped into his seat.
"Oh yeah, things are getting pretty serious between us." He said, looking back at you with a wink as if telling you to 'go along with it'. In the heat of the moment you couldn't find a response, and so you just went with his lie.
"I don't believe that!" Another boy with long spikes white hair popped in. "It's all well and good until she learns you have eight different side chicks. Eight different STD's too while we're at it."
"Guys stop." Aiku groaned in fake annoyance. "I'm not a whore! It's not my fault girls are throwing themselves at me, I'm just too sexy!"
"Aiku, please. Let's be honest, you make strippers look like nuns." The pink haired boy smiled coyly, earning a slap on the shoulder from his friend.
"Hey, I'm a humble man. I can accept my faults, that's gotta count for something." He said, raising his hands in surrender.
"Not very humble when you brag about how girls are throwing themselves at you, now is it?" You spoke up teasingly. The whole atmosphere of the team felt pretty laid back, almost like a friend group rather than a sports team. You found yourself losing your sense of fear with each passing moment you hear the boys bicker with each other, it was entertaining.
"Oh shit! Even your girl's turning against you!"
"Personally, I would not take that kind of disrespect."
Just as Aiku was about to respond, he was interrupted by the door being opened. You watched as the coach of the U-20 team walked in, followed by his assistant manager and finally tailing behind the two with an indifferent look was Sae. The wasn't much to comment on the two coaches, they looked pretty average. When you pictured the coaches of a professional team, your mind would just to someone who's super strict and intense, someone like Ego. But these two seemed like anything but intense.
You could hear the whispers around you grow as the team noticed Sae enter the room. The boys looked at each to her with excitement.
"Holy crap... it's the real thing." One boy muttered, staring straight ahead at the red haired boy.
"So cool! We really get to play with him!"
"I've heard he's one of the best passers in the league!"
Aiku's friend scoffed at all the praise directed to the professional players visibly annoyed. "You guys think so? He just looks like a spoiled prince to me..." The boy mumbled, leaning back in his chair.
Before any of Sae's fanboy's could defend his honor, the coach spoke up. "Alright everyone, take your seats. As you know, your opponent next Friday will be team Blue Lock! Accompanying us in this game will be Sae Itoshi along with another player from Blue Lock of his choosing! Together we must work hard to maintain the good image of the Japanese U-20 team!"
