I can hear voices, my parents and Von's pero hindi ko sila maintindihan.
Am I dead?
I opened my eyes at nakitang nag-uusap sila sa pinto.
Von looked at me and was shocked kaya pumunta ito sa akin. Sumunod naman ang parents ko. I tried to sit at medyo nahirapan ako kaya tinulungan ako ni Von.
"How are you feeling?"
"Uh... A little bit dizzy"
"Akala namin kung napano kana anak" -Mom. Dad was silent.
"Are you okay dad?"
"Y-yes naman anak I'm just nervous"
"Why? am I ill?"
"No Zariah" -Von.
"Really?"
"Yes"
"Then what just happened?"
"You need to answer Von's proposal first Zariah" Mom smiled.
Nakalimutan ko, oo nga pala.
"You're 3 weeks pregnant" -Mom.
My eyes suddenly widened. Bigla akong naexcite and I felt emotional all of a sudden.
Dumapo ang tingin ko kay Von. He just nodded then walked out.
I was left dumbfounded. My heart suddenly aches.
Ayaw niya?
"Totoo ba mom? Dad?"
"Yes"
"He doesn't want the child"

Tinulungan nila akong tumayo. They said we'll be as quiet as possible then sinilip namin siya sa labas.
Nanghina ako sa nakita ko. He was looking at a paper, ultrasound ata siya ang he was smiling pero I saw him wipe his eyes.
"Boys don't show weakness" -Dad.
"Because we want that our loved ones think we're strong and capable of protecting them."
Mom closed the door then dad hugged me.
"I'm so excited for my apo... I prefer a girl" -mom.
"I prefer a boy" -sagot naman ni dad. Natawa nalang ako.
"I will love my child kahit ano pa ang gender niya. "
They hugged me then biglang bumukas ang pinto, iniluwa non si Kuya kasama si Von.
"I'm sorry I'm just emo---" - Von.
"Yeah, I understand " I smiled then held his hand.
"Inunahan niyo pa ako" -Kuya.
"Sorry kuya hahaha, get a girlfriend old man"
"Don't pressure me I'm just 30"

Nagdecide na silang umuwi since nandoon pa ang mga bisita.

"Let's continue?"
"Nasa part na tayo na magye-yes ka"
"Start tayo sa question mo"
