"We're covering the first day of senior year from Midtown High's most famous student."
Allison was extremely overwhelmed by this. So many people were standing outside their school.
"Peter Parker! Go get 'em, tiger. Or should I say, 'Spider?'"
The teens started through the chaos outside of the school.
"The crowd has continued to grow here all morning long at the Midtown School of Science and Technology–"
Allison gripped Peter's hand as they walked through the mess.
"The crowd seems evenly divided between supporters of Spider-Man and protestors."
"Allison! Allison! Allison! We love you!"
"Allison, are you going to have his spider babies?!"
Allison starts to get uncomfortable with everything. They all keep their heads down as security guides them through.
"Back up!"
"Out of the way!"
"You know he's a murderer, right?!"
"Hey Peter, come here!"
"Do a TikTok with me!"
"Hey, let's see you and Allison kiss!"
"Back off!" Ned snapped at the crowd.
"Who are you?"
"I'm Ned Leeds, I'm Spider-Man's best friend-"
"--I'm Peter Parker's best friend. You come at my boy, you come at Flash Thompson. And if you want to read about our inspiring friendship, you can now in my new book–"
Allison rolls her eyes at Flash as he holds up his new book.
"--Flashpoint: One Spider, Two Hearts, a Million Crazy-Ass Memories. Check it out!"
Lies, it's all lies.
Ned rolls his eyes and walks off.
Peter and Allison are stopped at the bottom of the school steps, her anxiety is spiking even worse. Security scans Peter with a metal detector and separates him from Allison. Their hands leave each other as Allison holds back her tears, she's sick of this stupid day.
