Peter stood in Allison's laundry room scrubbing his suit. Allison sat in her bedroom with her music playing. She was doing her math homework. May was making dinner for them.
"Nicky from Jersey City, you're on the line." The broadcaster said.
"Stupid commercials." Allison went to change the station on her phone.
"Hi, I'm not saying I don't want to honor the Avengers,-"
She didn't want to change it yet, she was interested.
"but, you know, we're not doing it this way. You know, putting the Captain America shield on the Statue of Liberty? Nah."
Allison actually agreed with this person. Peter didn't care, he kept attempting to get the green paint out of his suit, but it wouldn't come out.
"That's gonna look ridiculous! Leave the Statue of Liberty alone..." The man kept talking.
Allison turned down the radio because she heard Peter calling her name. She rolled her eyes and put her stuff down on her bed. She then started walking towards the laundry room where Peter was standing with a tarp in his hands. Under that tarp was a large box labeled "Stark Case".
"None of your business." She sassed and headed towards the kitchen.
~ Later That Night ~
"Did you send in your applications yet?" MJ asked Peter over Facetime.
"I literally just finished my MIT one. You?"
"Same." She said and nodded.
"Can you imagine if we both got in? And Ned, and Allison."
"I don't think she really wants to go there." MJ said.
Peter hated the idea of Allison not going to the same school as everyone else.
"She wants to go." Peter said.
"I don't think she does."
"She does!"
Peter's head turned when he heard a fork land on the floor. There was Allison, she had dropped a fork.
"You never care?! Just ask me instead of speaking for me!"
She was on the verge of tears. Allison ran to her bedroom, slamming the door shut, and sliding down it in tears.
"You did this to yourself." MJ said just before she hung up.
Peter got up off the couch and walked towards Allison's room. He knocked on her door.
"Go away."
"Allison, please, just let me talk."
She opened the door, her eyes were red and puffy from her tears.
"Fine."
She moved out of the doorway, throwing herself onto her bed. Peter sat on the end of her bed.
"Look, I'm really sorry. I should have known. You don't have to go to MIT unless you want to."
"Good cause I don't think I'm gonna go there." She said.
"That's fine."
"You should have asked me or at least let me tell you that I didn't want to go to MIT."
"Ok."
"I'm also sorry."
"For what?" Peter was confused.
"For being a bitch all the time. I guess it's because I feel lonely. Everyone I knew died within a few days of each other. First Nat, then Tony, and then my Dad. It just broke me. So I'm really sorry."
"You don't have to be."
Allison smiled and hugged Peter.
"You can sleep in here with me, I don't really care, plus tomorrow is gonna be a rough day."
Peter laid down next to Allison on her bed. And for the first time in a while she felt calm, she felt okay.
