A while later, at the Conformitorium, Luz sat in her cell as the guards talked.

"Did you hear that Belos caught the armored warriors that have been stopping all those attacks?" A guard said.

"Yeah, he brought them in by force, made them put their weapons in the barrier." Another guard said, "I hear he's going to petrify them... publicly."

The guard shivered from this as he shook his head.

"I always hated watching a witch getting petrified. Just seems like a slow and painful punishment compared to quick and painless." He said.

"Yeah but they're criminals. Slow and painful is kind of what they deserve if you think about it." The other guard said, nodding his head.

Luz went to the end of her chain and reached out, unable to get reach the Monado. She growled in frustration.

"Damn it! Why can't I ever do something right!?"

'Am I not worthy of it anymore?! Why isn't it coming to me?!' Luz thought, wanting the Monado to fly into her hand like it usually does, 'Must be because of this fucking chain!'

Luz walked over to the wall and slid down it.

"There's no way out." Luz said, hugging her knees and putting her head on her arms, "Everyone I care about gets killed because of me... I never should've come here."

"Do you really believe that?"

Hearing that voice, Luz looked up.

"Hunter?"

In front of Luz, was a golden colored ghost.

He looked almost exactly like he did the last time they saw each other, only his black hood was down and he was smiling down at Luz.

"Yeah, it's me. Hey, Luz." Hunter said, slowly crouching before her. "Surprised to see me?"

"Y-Yeah. How are you here?" Luz asked, shocked.

"Doesn't matter." He said, "What does matter is that you're ready to give up."

"Yeah, look around, do I look like I can get out of this?!"

"I would say no, except you're different... you're strong." Hunter said, "And I'm not the only one that thinks so."

Luz was confused by this before she gasped, seeing 4 more colored ghost appear around her.

"He's right, kid." Eda said as a reddish orange ghost.

"You can't give up." Lilith said as a light blue ghost.

"You don't know the meaning of "give up!" Hooty said, appearing as a brown color ghost.

"So why are you giving up now?" King asked as a grayish color ghost.

"You are the strongest witch I've ever met." Hunter said, "Even the Titan is impressed with you. Don't give up, not as long as you have something worth fighting for."

"I'm sorry... I'm sorry I couldn't save you." Luz said.

"Don't be sorry, you gave us our purpose." Lilith said, "You showed us the truth, you showed us what was right. I would still be hunting down my sister if it wasn't for you."

"I'd still be some lonely hermit with just two weird demons to keep me company." Eda said, crossing her arms.

"Hey! We're not weird." Hooty said to him.

"Yeah, you are but I love you guys for it." Eda said with a playful smile. "Just like I love you, kid. You became the daughter I never knew I wanted until I got ya. Kid, you've changed my life for the better. The happy, bubbly, energetic girl that came through the portal was the greatest thing to ever happen to me. If you need a reason to keep going... then how about you avenge us?"

"Avenge you? You must not have been watching but I already tried that and look where it got me." Luz said, remembering how she was dumped and left friendless.

"Then try again but this time, think it through and work with the people you care about." King said, moving close to Luz and hugging her. "They love you just as much as we do."

"How? I can't even get out of this room!?" Luz said.

"Remember what I taught you." Eda said, "A great witch is a resourceful one."

They slowly began to disappear.

"You can do it." Eda said, disappearing last.

Luz looked around the room and looked at her sword. She stood up and got a determined look.

"This chain is keeping me from reaching my sword... but it will also be the reason I can reach it." Luz said.

Luz sprinted, going as fast as she could. She reached the end of the chain and felt her shoulder get dislocated. She held in a scream and had an actual smirk... because it just extended her reach. She grabbed her sword handle, lifted it up, and switched it to the fire glyph. The loud scream that followed echoed through the entire prison. The guards jolted at the scream and rushed to the source, wondering what or who could've made that sound!

"Did that come from the human cell?!" One guard asked.

"No clue but we better make sure she stays put!" Another guard said.

They opened the door, only seeing darkness. They walked in, spears at the ready. A couple make light spells to see in the dark, but it didn't do much in the large cell. One looked at the chain, following it until he reaches the end, which was heading into the darkness.

"Human, what was that scream?" He asked.

There was no sound.

"I asked you a question!"

The guard yanked on the chain, pulling it into the light.

"Oh... my... Titan." The guard said, "Guys, look at this."

The guard held the chain up... revealing a severed arm. They heard the sound of metal sliding across the floor, and the room caught fire. They began to panic at this and tried to run to the door, only for it to slam shut. In the middle of the fire, was a shadowy figure, with one arm, glowing red irises, and holding the Monado.
