TK and the rest of the 126 had a long shift. One of the new probie's on B shift had used the "Q" word and left A shift with the fallout. From a person running around naked after taking some new type of drug, to a couple getting stuck doing the do. They were dogtired.
It was the next day that they finally got to sleep in. Owen had to pull them off of rotation after working late into the night. TK was the last to wake up and the first to see Carlos walking into the fire house. "Hey 'Los! What are you doing here?" He ran down the stairs and hugged Carlos. "Hey Ty. I just wanted to see you. I heard that someone said the "Q" word and wanted to make your day a little better. Head upstairs, I've got a surprise."
A few minutes later, Carlos came up the stairs and was followed by a blonde haired boy. "Buck!" Winter yelled and ran over him. "Thank god you are back. I can't stay with the fire anymore. They are crazy." Buck laughed and hugged Winter back. "You know, I thought T would have been the first one to greet me".
The rest got up and huddled around Buck while Carlos hung back. The team was happy Buck was back. Now maybe, they would get some peace from the crazy calls.
